My favorite dish is, Chicken Marsala with the sauce on the side, no potatoes sub steamed broccoli, share the plate with a friend or eat half and take the other half home.  Also you can request the salad with FF Italian Dressing and I dont eat the bread when i go.  Instead of everything swimming in sauce, i just dip a little on the chicken to satisfy my taste buds. Very satisfying!

    Re: Olivie Garden

I got the Shrimp Primavera last weekend and ate about half of it.  It was really good and had a lot of veggies and a tomato sauce on it.  YUM!

    Re: Olivie Garden

I work at Olive Garden, and there are some healthy options. There is a Garden Fare menu you can ask the seater or your server for, and it gives you calorie and fat content, and a couple of other contents. Olive Garden does offer wheat linguinie and can be substituted for any pasta dish. There is also a Venitian Apricot Chicken on the menu which comes with asparagus and steamed broccoli. It's not too high in calorie and low in fat. Also when ordering your salad they do have a low fat dressing you may ask for. If you like Minestrone, ours is very healthy. If you have any other questions I will answer them the best I can.

More and more "chain" restaurants have a their nutritional info on their websites - best bet is to check them out prior to going out to eat :)

    Re: Olivie Garden

Use caution!  Olive Garden is always on my local news for the extremely hihg amounts of calories nad fat in their dishes.  I can't recall the specifics but I remember that a regular plate of spaghetti & meatballs had enough calories for 2 entire days!  I've never gone back since I learned how rich almost all of  their food was!

    Re: Olivie Garden

When I go there, I order the minestrone soup and the salad with no fat dressing on the side.
