    Help, I'm going on vacation....

...I'm going to leave in a couple of days and I don't think Alli is going to be a good idea.  I've only been on the program for 3 weeks and this past week was horrible.  I'm getting treatment effects here and there as I'm learning which of my ethnic foods will work best with Alli.  I don't want to encounter TE, especially while I'm away. I will still continue to make the healthy choices as much as possible on my trip, but I intend to stop the pills and re-start the entire program when I return (in two weeks).  I would like your professional opinion on my decision.

You really are what you eat, so eat healthy! Age: 33 Working Mother of 3 (under 7 years old) SW: 198 lbs. GW: 150 lbs.

My opinion is for you to stick with the whole Program while you're away.  If you're getting TE's now you need to figure out exactly what triggered them.  Review your Nutrition Logs.  Maybe you underestimated a portion, or maybe knew something had too much fat and ate it anyway.

I feel strongly about staying with it because there will always be holidays, vacations, special events, etc. and one of the goals of the alli program is to help people learn new lifestyle behaviors that will not only help them lose weight -- but MAINTAIN it!

Try reading some of the other posts from people who have been in this position.  I think you'll find positive comments from those who stuck with it.  Use the "search" function at the top right of the page to do this.  "Disney cruise" "cruise" and "vacation" are good ones to start with.

I hope this helps.  Pleas let me know if you need anything else.
