    First Day! :D

    I just took my pill about 10 minutes ago. I had a turkey sub from Subway with it :)

    My diet is normally pretty low fat [unless I eat out, then i splurge]. But I have problems with one thing: eating during the day. I know it's bad. But I have extreme anxiety and a fear of throwing up.. and it really prevents me from eating anything during the day when I'm at work. I know its TERRIBLE for my body. Once and awhile I'll have a TINY snack in the evening.

     So usually, I don't eat until about 10pm unless its Sunday/Tues/Weds. Then I don't eat until around 2pm or 3pm.

     I do my best to exercise 2-3 times a week, usually for about 30-45 minutes but I've had a cold lately.

    Anyways, I haven't lost ANY weight since I've been gyming it. Do you guys think it's because I have such a bad eating schedule? I don't eat unhealthy THAT often, maybe once a week. Usually its homecooked food. I've been eating a lot of completely homemade all vegetable, low sodium soup.

    Hi Archisa,

    Why is it that you have a fear of throwing up? How long has this been a problem? This sounds like something that you need help with. Anxiety can be paralyzing and it's not enough to just tell you to eat lunch. Have you ever discussed this with a therapist?

    Hi,

    I am not a nutritionist by no means but I am a certified RN for over 20 years and from what you write it sounds as if you are not eating correctly or enough. Remember that not eating enough food throws your bodies metabolism into a kind of starvation mode and your body tries to maintain what it has. As for the anxiety about eating for fear of throwing up sounds like something that should be worked on with someone who deals with eating disorders, once you begin that then you may have better luck with your weight loss.     I know. I've actually had these fear since I was 4 or 5, and although it was intense, I didn't get panic attacks [all internal ones, you wouldn't know I was having one unless I said something] until January 2007.

     I have gone to a therapist who was no help, and quite honestly-- I haven't had the *time* to goto one lately. I am just going part time now for my job so I can go back to school. I'm actually only 19, and I've been working full time since July and it's been so hard.

     I also just put my cat down two weeks ago, he's been my little baby since I was 5. So blah :( Its made getting up and going to the gym so hard to do but I finally went back for the first time yesterday since I put him down.
