Well, I'm giving up on this board for awhile. Since Friday, March 15, I have received no email thread subscriptions. I have written 3 posts in the message board section of the forum; no response.

This isn't the first time this has happened; actually, it's the third. It's so frustrating to respond to a thread (or even START a thread) then have to spend 20 min. just finding it. I've even had to start making a list of all the topics I've email enabled (that don't work, mind you, no emails), just so I can go back and check the threads.

Now this board is becoming more trouble than it's worth. Glad I have my own personal journal that I've kept since January to track my progress. I've seen many, many posts of people who can't check in, can't log in calories/ food, etc.

So sorry that you are giving up! have you tried the search option to look up the threads that you are looking for?  I do hope that you will come back!! Take care and stay with the plan!!

I was just reading through some threads and came upon this one. Where do you find the search option to look up posts? I didn't know there was one. Hope you read this I am really curious.

I agree with this post!  This message board is to complicated to search for what topic you want to discuss, and too often you receive no responses are given when you post a message.  I think most people are too busy to spend so much time & not receive any "words of encouragement" back for their efforts.  This board needs to be simplified, so you can easily find your post, and any responses!!

 Scroll to the very top - there are 3 links ... search .. my account ... sign out.  If you use the search button you can either type in a key word or your own user id and it will bring up "all" of your posts.

There are so many posts that if no one responses or even one person - it may just get buried in a few pages - but heck, there are enough posts/forums here to keep you busy reading and entertained for a VERY long time.

I really think the posts of people who can't log in, can't log in calories, etc. is not a Alli or this message board issue but possibly user error or computer glitch.  Sometimes you just have to make sure you're logged out of Alli, delete the cookies/history then re-boot your pc and POOF everyone/everything is happy again !!

Hi Everyone,

The easiest way to find any post that you have written is to click on your name. You will see your name next to a post and when you click on it you will be taken to all of the posts that you have written. You can also do what has been suggested and use the search command on the upper right corner.

I never let any post on here go without a response. I read all of them to make sure that everyone receives an answer. If a member responds with a correct response I may not say anything, but that does not mean that no one is reading it.

Take a look at your posts to get all of your answers. It's worth learning how to navigate this board. There are really great people on here and it's the best place to get the answers and support that you need.

Lets keep chatting...........there is so much help in doing so. Have you just started Alli or have you been on it for awhile? I am kind of new to it but I must say i like it so far and this site is very cool. I like being able to log my food, activity and to post on the message blogs. I found it hard to navigate this site such as checking in but once I figured it out it is not too bad. Hope to hear from you.

I am new, I have not started yet, I am wating for my friend to get back from vacation and we are going to start together. But I wanted to know how this site works so I can show her when she get's back.

 I have alot of weight to loose, but I know I cannot do it alone..so this is how I found Alli, I am praying and motivated to loose this extra baggage I've been packing around.  Good luck on your own quest to get healthy!

Please look into the smaller groups.  If you scroll down the page a little bit, you'll see another red bar that says "my alli forums".  Click that and look at what's available to you.  There are age groups and groups set by the amount of weight you want to lose.  Those forums are so much more personable.  You'll meet all kinds of neat friends there!

Betty Kovacs, by the way, is the best!  Any time you have a question that you want to address to a staff member or a dietician, go to the "discuss alli with a registered dietician" posting section.  Either Betty or Pat or Sylvia are always there to help with your specifc questions.  Your posting buddies can suggest things, but they are the Pros!

Alli is a superior weight loss product and offers so much support.  Persevere and poke around the site a bit.  You'll be very glad you did!
