Welcome Maryjane, It is important to get the fat and calories in your meals so the Alli works. I personally don't take one with my breakfast (oatmeal 5 grams of fat). I always take one at my evening meal. I used to take it after I ate (then if I ate too much fat I would skip the pill). I wasn't losing much weight doing that so now I take it before my meal and it keeps me honest. You will adjust and when you exercise it doesn't seem like so much food. Keep posting you will get a lot of support here. Good luck, Lynn

It's not a diet - it's making BETTER choices MORE of the time. And better
choices don't include just food - it's food, exercise, attitude, and caring for
yourself." mscolbert (Martha)
