    Slow to loose weight

I have been taking Alli for a week now and have only lost 2 lbs.  I was hoping to loose more and quicker.  Has anyone else had slow weight loss on the Alli Plan??

    Re: Slow to loose weight

    Kelsie,

Don't be discouraged! 2 pounds is good.  Typically people begin losing weight within the first 2 weeks.  Remember the alli plan in not a quick fix but geared toward safe, realistic and sustained weight loss.

    Keep up the good work!

"Only" lost 2 pounds? You should be happy that you have lost 2 pounds - thats great! I don't know how much weight you want to lose but I bet the weight gain didn't happen overnight and it won't come off overnight either. Keep doing what you are doing - slow is sometimes better!  Christopher

    Re: Slow to loose weight

I stayed under my calorie range - had a really hard time getting up to 1800 cals.  and under my fat grams, no effects and 0 weight loss.  I personally feel thinner and better, but when I went in to the computer for my check in, even though I answered that I always stayed under the cal limit and fat grams, that I must have went over my calorie limit?  That answer was very discouraging when I said I stayed within all limits.

    Re: Slow to loose weight

I havent weighed myself, but I feel alot thinner, especially in the abdominal area.  I do know that I need to lower my fat intake, because I ex perienced the "Side Effects" today if you know what I mean.  Keep up the good work, hopefully when I weight myself tonight, I will have lost at least two pounds.

    Re: Slow to loose weight

Hi Kelsi...I too stayed under my planned intake....have had NO treatment effects...after 5 days I'm weighing the same tonight as I did in the morning....only weighed myself tonight to try out my new digital scale...so what I am hoping for is a 1-2 pound loss in the morning....I know you can get discouraged...but hang in there....I am....! Kelsi,

My first 5 days of Alli were a bit of a roller coaster.  I went down 2.5 and then way up.  This is now the end of my first week and I lost 4 pounts.  I think the body just needs a bit of adjustment time to the reduced fat intake.  Keep at it and keep us posted on your progress.  Good luck out there!
