Do you see the frustration here?  You answered my question yet did not post the question?  I understand that you have a job and I respect the aspect of your job that we do not understand.  I am not nervous about sharing my story, at all.  I am hesitant because I have a negative feeling now.  I reached a certain goal and needed a different kind of support than I had in the beginning.  When I reached out for that support, it was denied by whoever it is that made these rules.  I attempted to find the rules so I could better understand them and was unable to find why most of my posts were deleted.  Like, my question that you answered.

This program is great, no doubt.  Since it is a lifestyle plan, we are on a long journey with many stages.  I was NOT offending anyone by any of my deleted posts.  Never.  I am so serious about what I am doing that the last thing I would do would be post something which would not be a help to them and/or me.  I have been on Alli for 13 weeks and have not strayed from the suggested plan ONCE.  NOT AT ALL.  I came to the boards everyday to hang with it....do the right thing......learn and share.  Then, for no reason which makes any logical sense, I get yanked.  I am just not wanting to share that part of thje story because I know it will not be allowed.

If it helps, if you have any of your deleted posts feel free to copy them here and I can try to tell you exactly why they were deleted.

You keep saying that the team here is trying to make changes and suggestions to the higher ups but I have been on here since August of last year and still nothing has changed. What I would like to know is what exactly are the unspecified 'legal reasons' that we don't know about and if you can share with us where a good alli board is on the net to discuss alli without those legal reasons, I would like you as a mod to share it with us.

There have been many changes on the message boards, including the addition of many new forums, signature lines, the ability to add posts to a favorites list, and email subscriptions to threads.

Some of the legal restrictions involve not being able to share personal information (email addresses, phone numbers, etc.), inappropriate conversation, posting images, and the use of expletives. The main one that has caused many posts to be deleted from the message boards is the sharing of personal information.

I'm not privy to other alli message boards aside from this one, although I am certain they exist. I bet the folks in the "personal experiences" or one of the other community forums can give you some suggestions though.

   The complaints over deleted posts keep rolling in. Please tell me if chatmodadmin04 is an attorney. If he is not, he is not doing his job, which is not to capriciously, mindlessly delete posts. Therefore, I suggest the following "straw poll" --> The one called "chatmodadmin04" should be:  1) Tolerated,  2) re-trained,  3) Disciplined,  4) Transferred, or  5) Terminated.

   Even if he is an attorney, he has not been forthcoming to the members of the Alli Plan as to his apparently capricious use of censorship. He has personally offended so many of the Alli Plan membership so often in this way, something needs to be done to properly define the problem, and then to solve it.               --- Sincerely,            --- EcoChevy

The deletions are not only from one specific monitor. The chatmodadmins have a set of guidelines that they all follow.

We are currently reviewing some of these policies in order to enhance the community.
