I have been on Alli for two weeks on Thursday, but I started having pain on the lower left side of my stomach and lots of very strong gas pain. Are both of these side effects? I did eat alot of fatty foods yesterday. The lower left side stomach pain is the concern of mine...

Hello. While gas pain and stomach upset are possible while using alli - especially if you eat too much fat - if the pain is concerning you or severe you should contact your doctor to be sure it is not something else going on.

I had to STOP taking alli because of severe gas and stomach pain which was mostly in my lower left side.  On other web sites I've read this is a common problem.  The pain is not worth it to me.  I also have trouble with vitamins.  I also tried Chantix to quit smoking and that was FDA approved too.  I'm beginning to think anything the FDA approves I'll stay away from!  Rather diet on my own and exercise; maybe slower going but it'll be pain free.  Also had leakage which is terrible.  FYI:  I've been using it for about a week and a half.

I started taking the pills since 3 weeks and everything was fine until this morning that I started having stomach cramps. I haven't had consumed high fat food. Should I stop taking the pills??
