    my daughter and I

Weigh in was right back to 215 lbs.  This week has been rough.  My knee with the arthiritis has been giving me a fit, then the doctor recommended that I take off work.  Then I find out that I will be making to much to  draw Social Security benefits if I do'nt quit my job so I quit my job.  Then my friend of over 20 years who is like a mom to me, got really sick and she is 80 years old and what appeared to be a massive stroke turned out to be a severe infection and  congestive heart failure so I just plain neglected myself. I've been going back and forth to the hospital every day.  My goal is to get on the ball and take care of me as I promised my dear friend I would.  My exercise has been great because I've walked my legs off this week, ignoring how severe the pain in my leg and knee is.  That was my week!!! Hope things aren't this busy next week.  My friend is doing much better now.

    Re: my daughter and I

    Hi Gananama,

Life can very easily get in the way. There are going to be times when you need to get through whatever is going on and then get back on track. It's important to keep you and this plan a priority as often as you can. You are definitely worth it!

I am glad to hear that things are getting better for you now.

    Re: my daughter and I

I have lost 1 lb. I did not get on my scale until this morning. I am feeling good about myself and not focusing on weighing myself every morning. I record my favorite soap while i am at work and when i come home i eat a healthy dinner and then in 30 minuites i walk on my treadmill for 30 miunutes at a speed of 3.7 and watch my show. I believe in myself and i will achieve my weight loss goals.
