    Question About Free Alli

I got an e-mail about receiving a free bottle of alli and a cookbook. Does anyone know how long it typically takes to receive this? Please don't think I'm being demanding or impatient. I am so appreciative of this gift. It's just that I'm out of alli, and I'm trying to figure out if I should go buy another bottle or just wait.  I only have 24 pounds to go, and I typically only take 2 pills a day, so I don't know that I'll need both bottles. Also, have any of you received the cookbook yet? What's it like? I always love trying new recipes and look forward to receiving this gift.

I am so thankful for the alli program. I definitely feel like it was a blessing.  A lot of people have asked me if it really helped me lose weight more quickly. I really don't know. My body usually responds well to eating properly. Losing weight isn't the problem. Sticking with it is. To me, alli is the Enforcer. It makes me pay attention to what I'm eating.  It makes me make each meal count, and it makes me focus on good nutrition. It also makes me focus on exercise. This program has been wonderful. The message board is a wonderful resource. I can't tell you how many times I've been encouraged to keep going. It's also helpful to get advice from others and find out what works for them. I recommend this program every chance I get.

    Re: Question About Free Alli

I would imagine that once you send your information in, your gift will be sent out and you should receive it in 10-15 business days. That is, only, my guesstimation. The recipe book is really great. There are lots of new recipes for all meals, and some snack ideas too. There's more information about the book if you go to www.myalli.com, scroll down to the "what's new" section and click on the alli Cookbook link.

    Re: Question About Free Alli

What do I have to do to get the free bottle of Alli and the cook book?  I have been using Alli since September of 2007 and have lost 35 lbs. It would be nice to get a free bottle.

    Re: Question About Free Alli

    Hey Jen,

I received this same reward.  I was just thinking that I sent that off a while ago and I haven't gotten mine either.  I received another reward since then. the on th go bowl witht he freezer pack.  But I haven't received my pills or cookbook yet.  I actually had already bought the cookbokk, but if they are giving me a free one then I want it...perhaps for a friend.

Let me know what happens with yours.

    Stephanie

PS.  I agree with everything you had to say about Alli.  It is the enforcer, but it doesn't get all the credit...I have definitely mad a lifestyle change.

Stephanie sw 221 lbs (2/11/08) cw 191 lbs (8/29/08) total gw 170 lbs.  Look out 190 here I come!!

    Re: Question About Free Alli

Where is the cookbook and free alli? I believe it's been longer than 10-15 days so if you could find out for sure or direct me to someone who knows for sure that would be great.

    Re: Question About Free Alli

Stephanie and Lynne - It's been over a month since I sent the form in, so I'm thinking maybe there is a backorder issue or something.  I have another reward coming as well (measuring bowls I think). Stephanie, don't you love the on the go bowl? That is so cool. I've used it several times already.  I'm really looking forward to getting the cookbook even more than getting the pills.  I actually went and bought another bottle of pills. I'm only 23 pounds from my goal weight, so I think I'm going to give the pills to a friend of mine who needs to lose weight.  She's the one who told me about Alli in the first place. She was on it for a few weeks and then found out she was pregnant (total shock!). Now she's staying at home with the baby for a few months, and spending $50 on a bottle of alli is out of the question (not to mention the budget!) I'm looking forward to receiving the alli for her sake.  She's at a place where she's fed up with her weight, and I know how bad that feels. She's realistic, though, and knows that it's not a magic pill. It definitely requires a lifestyle change.

Keep me posted if you guys get your stuff.

Update on the alli and cookbook:

The first batch of names was received last week. They will be processing these, which will take a week or so, and sending the packages out after that.

    Re: Question About Free Alli

I have been on the program for 3 months now and find it to be very helpful. I have purchased the pills three times now and just cant afford to do it again . I am retired and receice the pittance of SS which has me strapped and to continue to buy the pills is impossible. I have written the contact us and had to wait for 3+ week for a cupon $5 that could have been printed immediately online , thus I am without the advantage of the pills for over 4.5 weeks now. I am still loosing and thankful but am exasperated that a reply letter indicated better help and time has been rediculous . I need help.!!

Started weight 278# now weight 245# great but rate has dropped to 1 lb due to no pills.

    Re: Question About Free Alli

Any of you get the pills/cookbook yet? Still waiting. I was hoping to get it before I go to the grocery store (today), because I could really use some new recipes. Some weeks I just get  tired of trying to come up with good stuff. This is one of those weeks where I feel like cooking whatever for my family and just eating Weight Watchers entrees all week. Let me know if you guys got it.
