    adding ground flax

    Hi,

    Before I began Alli, I added 1 Tbl ground flax to my yogurt in the afternoon. I am beginning my third week and would like to add flax back into my meal plan.

    Would you recommend adding the flax at a time I don't take Alli? 1 Tbl ground flax contains 3.3 g total fat. I don't want to elliminate the nutrition of the good fatty acids found in the flax.

    What are your thoughts.

    Hi Rena,

    Flax seeds are a great addition to your alli meal plan and the ground flax seeds mixes real well with yogurt, cereal, baking recipes, etc.

    Since your ground flax contains 3 grams of fat, I will recommend adding your ground flax during your meals when you take alli.  Just make sure you count the calories and fat grams toward your target recommendations.  Keep up the good work!
