WOW made this the night before, licking the plate today!

I took a frozen orange roughy fish filet put it into a Zip N Steam bag , added 1/2 can diced tomatoes, diced onions, garlic salt, and put in the micro wave on high for 6 minutes.  Cooked a bag of Trader Joes frozen brown rice, and added 1/2 the bag, and put in the fridge last night.  I just micro waved it for lunch, and oh my goodness, was it wonderful!  I'm making it again tonight with the other 1/2 of the stuff.

     Hi Judi,

Yes, this does sound delicious.  It's a wonderful idea.  No extra fat, no frying, and you can cook just about anything in those heat safe bags.

    Thank you for sharing!

another tip.....my husband made me "smoked" orange roughy. He bought some apple wood chips and put them in a small pan like the pot pies come in...a little water...put a piece of alum foil over that with some holes in it to let out the smoke....put the frozen fish on top and covered. When it was served...had a piece of a lemon to sqeeze on it.....I was in heaven.
