    Week 2 BONUS Challenge!!

    Here is your Week 2 BONUS challenge!

    The reward points at the end of the week, IF you do this DAILY = 100pts!

    Eat 1 HUGE salad full of various vegies and greens! It's that easy! You can do this at lunch, dinner, or as a mid-day 'snack!'

    Define HUGE you ask? One that is larger than a restaurant side salad...plain and simple. You are trying to get plenty of greens adding fiber, roughage, and nutrients and water to you meal!

    BE CAREFUL! Measure your salad dressing or the dreaded TE's could lie in wait for you! Also use care with chopped eggs, cheeses, oil-marinated toppings like peppers and muchrooms at a salad bar. These all have hidded fats that add up FAST!

    So...make like Bugs Bunny and eat your greens!

    HOW to post your daily achievement: Just post a "V" when you post your daily minutes!

    Week 1 is done so you can restart your minute talley!

    p.s. Afraid of not meeting your cal requirements? Add chicken breasts, grilled or canned fish, and a couple high-grain crackers and you shouldn't have an issue! You might even lose more weight next week!

    Carol Joy - Thanks for thinking of me even though I have been absent from the group.  I'm almost finished my 6 weeks of radiation and after 3 days next week, I will be finished.  I've done quite well and thought I would be up for the challenge.  Unfortunately, I feel I am playing catch up on spring cleaning, etc. and my exercise has definitely slowed down, as have I.  I thought maybe I could catch up with you all this coming Monday.  If not, I understand.  I haven't read all of the posts and plan on doing so.  Hello to everyone!  Thanks, Lynn

    Hello!

    My husband was doing very well today so I had to stay close to him, therefore, no exercise.  Hopefully tomorrow he will have his strength back and will be able to stay in his wheelchair.

    Wednesday the 7th was a rest day for me. 

    Thursday the 8th, 60 minutes of swing dance class and a V.

    Love the new challenge.  This is an easy one for me since I already do this most days.  Tip for others:  get yourselves some really good balsamic vinegar and you'll hardly need to use any oil.  I use a balsamic that has been flavored with figs and dates so it has some sweetness.

     30 minutes running around playing dodgeball with the teen social club I run and V for a big salad for lunch.

    30 Upper body strength training - "V" for a big salad. This should be an easy one, I usually have at least one big salad a day anyway!

    Crazy news from Montana! It was supposed to be overcast and rainy today. But guess what?!!! It started snowing when I was coming down the mountain to go to work today! Bummer! Now it's kinda snow/rain here in town! Will it ever warm up!!
