    Went to Islands Restaurant and did very well.  Had a veggie taco (special ordered) and it was fabulous!

    Jayney - Hubby is feeling better.  Once I put him in his wheelchair he started to get some strength back.  Our drive from Arizona to California is 4 hours and it was pretty tough on him.  Wore the poor guy out.  I just made him a Bloody Mary and gave him a nice bowl of shrimp and he's REAL happy!

    hi ladies,

    i have been extreamly M.I.A recently. like i said before i get up at 3am to get to work at 5AM then get home anywhere from 4:30- 7:30 pm depending on the day. i am working The Players Championship- and for all of you who don't know its GOLF! and its one of the biggest events and crazy busy. I serve the media breakfast, lunch, and a snack. I am constantly moving, taking out trash, lifting things, running around making coffee, and cleaning up after them. I haven't excercised the past couple of days but...

    the 7th, 0 minutes of "true" excercise and a V

    the 8th, 0 minutes of "true" excercise and a V

    the 9th, 10 minutes (eventhough I am exhausted since I haven't been excercsing I feel bloated and icky- so I just ran a mile and walked the rest of the ten minutes) and a V

    May 9th

    45 min walk and "V" for a big salad at lunch.  1,025/67 ... hope to do some strength training and a cardio workout at the gym tomorrow.  To all the Moms (and women who nurture whether they're biological moms or not), Happy Mother's Day! - Jane

    Friday, May 9: 65 minute walk (3.79 miles, 6,700 steps) and a V for the big salad

    Saturday, May 10th: 60 minutes yoga/pilates class and 60 min upper body weight training.  My arms feel like spaghetti.  No salad yet but it's still early here in California.

    Hi Everyone!

    I've been away from my computer for the whole week, BUT have been very good about the exercising and "V" for salad everyday. 

    I was on a cruise last week, and when I returned home, found my computer DOA.  The power supply was burned out.  I'm able to use my hubby's laptop today, and the computer guy is coming on Monday or Tuesday to make repairs (hopefully!!) 

    Glad to see everyone is doing so well, and I'm going to try to catch up on the past posts, today or tomorrow.

    Kelley - I'm sure the very active job will help you burn calories ... I had an opportunity to see the Players' Championship because I lived in Jacksonville for 15 yrs.  We've watched some on TV ... it looks like the clubhouse has expanded dramatically since the last time I saw it.  I hope that Paul Goydos, the single parent to 2 daughters, wins this year!!  That would be fitting on Mother's Day!

    I hope you get a long, hot soak after you get off work today!

    95 min exercise - 50 min at the gym, mostly strength training but some cardio warm up, plus a 45 min walk.  Work will be crazy-busy this week ... I'll be pleased but surprised if I can add 5 minutes more to that every day for the next couple of days!!

    V for 2 big salads, light on the dressing

    Also a high fat day :-( ; not the salad dressings, but my downfall ... nuts!! 2,180/110 Fats

    I hope everyone is having a great weekend and a wonderful Mother's Day!!

    Add a V for me for Saturday and again today, Sunday the 11th (Happy Mother's Day to all you mothers!) 

    Also today: 45 min lower body weight training, 60 minute yoga/pilates, and 20 min walk.  Total 125 min today.  I plan on taking a rest day tomorrow.
