    My Daughter and I

Hello all, I decided to go back to the very beginning and start all over so I backed off the alli pills and concentrated on the calories and fat and exercising by doing yard work and planting flowers and spring house cleaning for this week.  I will start back on the pills on Friday. I've lost 5 lbs this week, so i'm doing something right.

    Re: My Daughter and I

There's nothing wrong with starting over.  As a matter of fact it is great that you've not given up.  I wish you well this time around.  You've already lost 5 big ones, so you've already gotten a good handle on what you need to do.  Good luck.

    Re: My Daughter and I

Its great your hanging in there. I wish I could get out in my yard, we had a couple nice weeks in April {Niagara Falls New York} did get some done but worked inside also. Now its been very cold and raining almost everyday for the last week and next week dosent look much better. I just have a hard time exercising inside.... Good luck with your weight loss and life change...............

    Re: My Daughter and I

I am bad on exercising also unless it is working in the yard.  I know about how cold it gets up where you are. I'm originally from Watertown, NY, well close to Watertown.  I am determined to make this program work, I have to much money invested in it already to quit now.  I just need to focus and do my part.  Good luck on your weight loss also.

    Re: My Daughter and I

I'm determined to make this program work.  I knew I had to start over or I would get to discouraged.  I've read some of the other post where people start it all over so I said "Okay, I need to start it fresh!"  Yes, Thank-You I have lost 5 lbs, hopefully there will be another pound of so lost shortly.

    Re: My Daughter and I

I just took my first Alli pill as I start over again.  I know my biggest challenge is not giving in to cravings and if I do to not over do.  If I end up eating a cookie, just don't eat the whole box of cookies.  I'm also going to listen to my body more and know how different foods affect me.  I also am going to pay attention to how I feel and how my clothes fit, more than what the scale says.  I'm going to find unique ways to exercise and make exercise fun and a regular part of my day.

    Re: My Daughter and I

I weigh 215 again. It is 1 lb less then when I originally started this program. We'll see what a week brings with new determination.  Today I am 60 so it is the begining of a new life again.  I won't give up on this weight loss.

    Re: My Daughter and I

My weight is up to 152lbs. I have not exercised in about 2 weeks and my eating has been, not good. I have sabatoged myself. Sure i can blame it on my work schedule but i know i have to be determined no matter what curves are thrown my direction. If my routine is interrupted i get off my healthy goal path and well i am going to stop sabotaging myself. I am only to blame and next weeks weigh in i will be reporting my sucess....rabbit4me

    Re: My Daughter and I

I'm now starting over, effective today.  I had previously taken alli and lost 50 pounds, I stopped taking it and gained 29 back.  Now I'm determined to lose that and keep on going.  I need to stay focused and not give into temptations.   Good Luck to everyone on here restarting over.  Here's to not giving up again and having to re-restart over.

    Re: My Daughter and I

It is me again.  I just checked in again. I haven't lost any this week but the good news is I haven't gained either.  I have been following my meal plan and the fat grams and the pills almost to the letter. I've had a few forgetful times.  I haven't done yard work this week because it has been raining almost every day.  We are going to win this race no matter how many times we start over, just as long as we never give up.  We ill all make it to the finished line.  I know we will.

HellAll, This has been another hectic week and I haven't done well with sticking to anything. I haven't gained any weight so that is good, but haven't lost any either.  I'm hoping to get some control over this next week.  That is my goal to control my eating and make myself exercise.

    Re: My Daughter and I

    Hi Rabbit4me,

Oh my gosh do you sound like me!  I started reading some posts and everyone was doing so good but me.  I could kick myself because I too am a sabotour.  I do real well as long as I can stick to my planned schedule, but as soon as a holiday. birthday, graduation, wedding, or any kind of party or celebration comes up I fall off the wagon.   I am not giving up though!  No matter how many times I fall I will stilll continue to get back up!  I have only been on Alli about a month and have lost about 4 pounds but I problem is I know I could have lost alot more if I hadn't given in to my cravings  --- especially with alll the exercise I do.  Oh well I am STARTING OVER TOO!  New month coming up and I am bound and determined to lose this weight this summer.  We can do it!  We have an ALLI!

    Re: My Daughter and I

My daughter has lost a lb. and I found it. I've gained a pound this week. Still haven't been really working theprogram but bought Yogart and diet soda and fruits and veggies.  I've been using a cane now and so even with my bad knee I can walk more now. My little Chihuahuas are my exercise partners. I'm going to make myself do one day at a time. I'm starting right now at 2:15 to dedicate myself to really following this plan, at least for 24 hrs.
