    sooooo.... can i have snacks in between meals

    i work early in the mornin at 3:00 am and i do get hungry and i like to eat some snacks and such is that okay to do before my lunch

    HELPPPPP!!!!!!!!!11

    Snacks are perfectly fine and are recommended.  Having a low calorie, low fat snack between meals can helps keep hunger and craving at bay, keep you energized, keep the metabolism up, and prevent you from overeating during your meals or bingeing.

    Hi, A snack is recommended to keep your energy up in between meals, which amounts to 1 snack between meals or 2 per day. Hope this helps. Sophia De Monte RPh

    I also work early mornings (4am).  I eat breakfast then a snack about 2 hours later (like an energy bar).  Then Lunch, then another snack.   I eat dinner a few hours later.  If I have enough calories left I'll have dessert ( I love baked pears with some almonds).   When you have your snack - keep it under 5 grams of fat.  That way you don't have to take a pill - save those for the big meals.    I also drink 8-12 glasses of water a day  I LOVE WATER. sometimes with lemon and sweetner in it.  I don't exercise heavy - my son and I walk 3 or 4 afternoons only 1.5 miles.  Stick with it, I have lost 27lbs in 9 weeks.  Good luck.
