    sywelch:

What's going on... my name is Sy and I am excited about starting the Alli Plan on this coming Tuesday, 5/27.  I am beyond losing the casual 5 to 10lbs and I'm taking my tall, veluptuous, beautiful self to another level.  I am opening myself to anyone who is just as motivated and serious about finally losing the weight.  I am the partner to have b/c I refuse to make another resolution for another year about losing weight. My goal is to lose 81lbs by the 2009 New Year, at a rate of 12lbs p/mo, b/c I believe in myself that much. I have tried dieting over and over so much that I refuse to let myself down again... and I will not let you down, so long as your serious. I will not be envious of the Beyonces and the Jessica Simpsons of the world. I will not break anymore promises to myself. I will not eat just for the sake of eating. I will not quit on myself or my family. I will not look at my behind and quickly turn away. We are blessed entirely too much to be defeated once again. I am a 27-year-old mom, who aniticipates this to be the hardest and most unpredictable road I will ever travel but I'm doing it.  So let's do it people!!  Let's stop imagining a better us. Let us not be ignored by others. Forget what the world told you and let's be happy, finally. Let's do away with being depressed over this. You know what.... let's go to the full body mirror, take our clothes off, and let's give the baddest, most fierce walk or strut that we've ever given as we turn around and walk away! Don't cringe... just walk, baby! Let's do it... ooooowwww!!!

     JR,

What's going on, lady.  I know... I haven't heard much from anyone except Aisha so I'm thinking everybody either got discouraged or got busy.  But it's ok... I hope everyone is doing well.  Whenever, everyone is ready to come back, the thread is here and so am I.  I've gotten a little busy myself so I can testify about this myself.  I had to start my Alli plan all over again on yesterday just to get back on track.

Well, it's good to here you're still in there. I'll check the posts again tomorrow.  I hope to hear from ya.

Re: The Furious 80+ Weightloss Group (Let's Do It, People!)...

     Hello All,

Everything went well today.  My diet is still something to get used to with the smaller portions and all but I'll get used to it and incorporating the snacks in between will make it much better.

I didn't get my workout in today, however. So I'll be back on the wagon with that tomorrow.  See what happens when career takes over:)?

    Well see ya tomorrow.

Re: The Furious 80+ Weightloss Group (Let's Do It, People!)...

Just did a weigh-in today... I'm down by 3lbs just this week, with only two days of exercise.  Good deal!  Now I'm going to start my five-day workout routines this week so that I can lose even more weight.  My diet plan is great... I buy the Michelina Lean Meals b/c they are great, they help me stick to my diet, and they are cost effective for my budget.  I incorporated my fruit and some vegetables on the side and sugar free candy to keep me from cheating.  This is by far my best effort so far.  That girl is in it to win it!

Now all I have to do is lose 3 more pounds to make my goal by my first official weigh-in next Saturday.  I'm not worried.  The only reason why I even did a weigh-in today was to see how I did with my new meal plan so far.  So the ball is rolling now and I'm off to bed to get up at 7am for my morning powerwalk.

I hope everyone is doing well... b/c I'm feeling this thing right now.

    See you at the top,

    Sy aka hypemama

Re: The Furious 80+ Weightloss Group (Let's Do It, People!)...

Hi everyone its good to be back.  I didn't think moving 1200+ miles away from family and friends would be this hard.  Its been a week since my husband and I have been in San Antonio, Texas, and so far I like it.  I'm in the process of looking for employment.   Now I have to admit that I haven't been eating well, but I plan to get back on  the ball this weekend.

I hope everyone is doing well and had a great summer.

    Peace,

    Uhuru

    Hi Hypemama,

I like your saying of "See you at the top"!  I used sugar-free candy my first two weeks in also, and found it helpful.  I don't have to use it now.  Headed to the gym, good luck this week!  Tampabayb

Re: The Furious 80+ Weightloss Group (Let's Do It, People!)...

Uhuru... good to hear from you.

And yes, the summer was pretty good.  Glad to see you back.

So far I've lost 7 pounds in the past 2 weeks (go girl!).  I've been doing pretty well.  The meals in combination with healthy fruit and snacks have been helping and now all I have to do is get my workout in at least 4x per week.

Tampabayb, thanks for the shout out.  That's just the way we look at things here... there is no other way but up.  So I definitely welcome you in to meet your goal.

I'm here to motivate and I appreciate all of your support as well.

Have a great one, ladies... see on the flip.

    Two days until weigh-in (oooowwww!),

Re: The Furious 80+ Weightloss Group (Let's Do It, People!)...

     Hey Guys,

Hope everyone is doing well.  I've been hanging in there, still around, but don't post much.  I'm going to try to come to the boards more often.  I fell off the wagon big time and gained back all the weight I lost plus two pounds.  Yikes.  But, I am turning things back around and I've already lost 11 pounds and it's just been two weeks since I started to work Alli back into my life.

I take the pill, no matter what I eat.  Which has given me a few too many run to the bathroom situations, but, it's working.  I'm getting to the point where I'm asking myself is this how I want to do things.  I don't want to keep getting treatment effects because I ate 3 donuts.  So, I have to keep to eating better.

I know my eating habits are the killer for me.  I can make myself exercise, but I have a hard time turning down food.  I love food and I love to cook.  So, I'm trying to find as many yummy recipes as I can-so I don't have to give up flavor for health.  And so far I've found some awesome recipes-that even my picky fiance and son love.

Well, I hope you are all hanging in there and I hope that this board gets jumping again.  I miss hearing from everyone.

Re: The Furious 80+ Weightloss Group (Let's Do It, People!)...

Hi fam, what's up.  This week was good I lost 3 pounds.  Sy, you go girl on the 7 pounds.  Aisha 11 pounds that's grrreat.

When life gets busy, it just seems like you just don't have time to post.

Since I've been here in San Antonio, I've notice that  I dont eat as much, I guest its because its to hot down here,  where you just don't want to eat.  I didn't take the pill this pass week b/c I was going to the bathroom a little to much and I was feeling a little sick.  Does anyone know how long you can stay on alli?  I don't want to be on this pill until I lose the weight.  I want to be able to make it without the pill.  Plus the way the enconomy is I won't be able to buy the pills every month.  I have boost up my workouts and now have incorporated weights in my workouts.  I have gotten lazy on the walking though.  I have a fitness center in the complex that Iive in, but I haven't used it yet, i've been walking around the complex.

Well I hope that everyone one has a great week and I hope that everyone comes back to the board, we did have fun in the beginning.

    Peace,

    Uhuru
