    1st Day Started!

    Happy Memorial Day!

    Today is the my 1st day with Alli - and I feel better already!  After reading some of the posts, I am more excited and glad I decided to do this.  I've tried the gambit of things to get the weight off (CW 248) and of course nothing worked correctly or completely.  So, here I am - ready to do it the right way - one sensible step at a time!!  

    Thanks for the inspiration!

    hello everyone my name is trina and i have 3 beautiful kids my last one is 10 months old. and i have fought my weight my whole life, so I went out and got alli, and we will see what happens I started today and I weight 243 and at 5"4 its alot but i took the first step today!

    Today was my first day with the Alli pills.  I did well on Wed-Fri on all eating and then today I did fine for breakfast but after lunch I ate a lot and then for dinner we went to my in-laws and they had a BBQ I had a small hamburger on wheat bread and a brat.  I don't know what my deal was today.  I am so frustrated now.  I am an emotional eater and have been under a lot of stress but I did well in the beginning.  Any suggestions are helpful.  I want this to work so bad.

    here we all go together!  today is my first day as well.  lets keep in touch to encourage each other!  I don't know about you but that will be a HUGE help to me.

     Hi Trina,

    I sound just like you!. I have a 13 month old and an eight year old and I weigh 220 and I'm 5'4 and I'm taking that first step with alli. We can do this !

    Well... It's time. I couldn't beleive how big I was until I saw photos of myself. I asked myself, "Isn't the camera only supposed to add 10 pounds". I am just wondering how I am gonna do all of this with my busy schedule and not able to prepare most of the recipes. I will hope to do mostly raw foods, since I am away from a kitchen 60 plus hours a week. 

    I was on diet before and I lost 50 pounds with "L.A. Weightloss" and I was doing fine. I was home most of the day and working 12 hours a week part-time. I had time to exercise and cook my meals. Within 2 years I gained it all back because I started working 60-70 hours a week and never home. I never get a lunch break (or dinner for that matter) so binge eating made it's way back into my plan of action: "Eat when you can and eat a lot to tide you over". I went back to skipping meals too and gained weight from huge dinner binges at Midnight. 

    Now I am 200 pounds and it is effecting my career. No one wants to hire a singer who isn't a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model. I am determined to lose this weight. I just need to figure out when I will have time to prepare food and exercise, oh yeah and sleep. 

    Looks like everyone is doing well on the ALLI plan. I am hoping to have much of this weight off by September.
