    calorie record

What are others doing once they use up all the pages in the starter kit to keep record of the calories taken in?  I find that I estimate calories and fat and as a result seem to be having difficulty losing weight.  Wouldn't it make sense for alli to make available a download so that I ( and perhaps others) HAVE to keep a written record?  Somehow, just writing it on a piece of paper doesn 't have the same effect for me as it did recording it in the little book.

I use the Nutrition Log too. I don't care for the suggested meal plans. It's time consuming entering things in the Nutrition Log for the first time though but it's a good tool to track the kinds of calories you're consuming.

    Re: calorie record

I find having a small hand-bag sized diary is the best way, you can get "page-a-day" diaries that are small enough so you can even write weight & BMI etc in on your check-in dates (if you want) plus you can write in which day you're going to the gym or other activity. - if it's planned in, it's easier to remember to do plus when it's written down I find I'm more likely to do it.

    Re: calorie record

    hi,

I was thinking the same exact thing today. I find that writing down everything I eat and keeping track of fat and calories is very helpful, but I am almost at the end of the Daily Journal that came in my starter kit. I was hoping Alli would send me more journals, but judging from what I have read, I guess they don't offer that. I guess I am off to a stationery store to look for a small journal !!!  : (
