I met my goal!! Maintenance Plan??

Hi, I'm 5'5 and started Alli on 10/29 at 151 and am now 128 - which was my goal. I have been at 128 for a couple weeks and have reported this on my check in. Is there a maintenance plan that should kick in? Am I still supposed to be shooting for the same calorie/fat grams as I was when trying to lose weight? I figured that would change once I hit my goal but it hasn't. Any guidance for maintenance?

    Congratulations!  That's a wonderful accomplishment.

It's correct for your calories to remain the same.  It's important for you to continue to do the physical activity you've been doing, and making low-fat food choices.  The Nutrition and Logs will be available to you for as long as you'd like to continue to use it.  You should be receiving a set of "Lessons" that will provide recommendations for maintaining weight loss.

Some people completely discontinue the capsules; others continue with one meal per day; some a couple of meals per week.  It's really your decision as how to do it.

    Keep up the good work!

Congratulations!  This is wonderful news for you and all of us alli-peeps!

We have a lot in common.  I'm 5'5" too.   My starting weight (on Feb. 22) was 166.  I'm down to 149.  My goal is 146, which is 2 lbs under the maximum weight for my height on the BMI charts.  Wow, you must be really slender at 128 lb!  That was what I weighed when I got married 20 years ago!  Once I hit 146, I may try for another 5 or so, we'll see.

I'll be watching for any replies you get regarding the maintenance program.

    Take care,

    mirf

Congratulations to you too!  This is great news.  You should be getting your "Lessons" too, and you will have access to your Nutrition and Activity logs indefinitely.

    Keep up the good work!

Re: I met my goal!! Maintenance Plan??

There is a link on your myalliplan page that you can click on to start the maintenance phase. if you click on "my account" in the upper right corner of the site, it will take you to your account page. Click on "Edit" next to myaccount plan details and there will be a link at the bottom that says "happy with your weight loss?" Click the link to start the maintenance phase. Use that to get yourself started. Good luck!

But if I continue with the low-calorie diet and the physical activity, won't I keep losing weight??
