Also when I'm out of olives like I am today while at work I keep a jar of reduced fat peanut butter and eat 1 table spoon of it after my meal to bring up my fat grams

    Re: Olives!!! How smart!

I never thought of olives, but they are like pringles for me, once I pop...well u get it. I use reduced fat peanut butter also. Sometimes when I need fat I spread some red. PB on some chocolate mini quaker rice snacks and its a lil like a peanut butter cup(A girl can dream can't she? lol)...Almonds are great too....I think its nice to bulk up on the fat by adding good fats as opposed to just putting a spoon of butter on ur toast you know? I mean I think with Alli, fat is fat, good or bad fats don't matter but I personally feel better about consuming "good fats" as opposed to all "bad fats". GOod Luck!

I am the same exact way i could eat a jar of olives but to control that I pack up a tiny tupperwear like the one for sauces with just enought olives to get me through the work week and keep it in the fridge that way i don't go over board on the olives

    Re: Olives!!! How smart!

Thank you Sasha and Jen. I spent most of yesterday morning scratching my head trying to figure out how to put more fat into my WW diet without blowing it all! Olvies, PB and a little salad are awesome answers! Good luck to you both on your weight loss!

    Re: Olives!!! How smart!

Pickles won't do it, has to be olives.  But if you don't like olives you can use cream cheese, it's a hundred calories per ounce and has 10 grams of fat.  Tampabayb

    Re: Olives!!! How smart!

Thanks for the tip on the cream cheese. I love it, but for some reason I just didnt realize I could have it. And great way to get my fat in. Now, if only cookies could be part of the plan, LOL!

    Best wishes,

You can also sprinkle some nuts over your oatmeal/cereal in the morning; or into salads.  Also try regular or LF salad dressing instead of FF or LF.  And avocado is a nice way to add a little fat to a salad or sandwich...or even a few chunks in soup or chili.

    I hope that helps.

    Re: Olives!!! How smart!

I've been adding olives to my salads when I take a salad for lunch, as well as a serving of reduced fat cheese, and that helps a lot.  In the morning, I will grab some natural almonds (which I weigh out for accuracy) and that gets me the fat grams I need.  I was shocked when I start Alli 6 weeks ago that I was having to add things to get my fat intake.  What I have found is there are healthier fats, and that's what I'm trying to learn!
