I don't do the full amount of fat per meal, per day because when I eat that much fat I get real sick. I've been that way for the past 20 years. Before I started alli and didn't care about how sick I would get from eating fat I would have to take my medication just to control my symptoms. Now that I care about what I eat and the fact that I've dramatically reduced my fat intake I no longer need my medication...AND...I can eat and actually enjoy the food knowing full well I'm not going to get sick. Yippee!
My exercise is pretty simple. I do a lot of walking every day, plus I do 30 minutes of low impact aerobics and 30 minutes of stretching.
Don't forget, Lynne, that everyone's metabolism is different. I used to have an extremely fast metabolism and have always been unweight. My metabolism ultimately slowed down and I eventually got the "I don't care" attitude that that's what got me into weight trouble. For myself, the harder I work out the quicker I lose the weight.
