    Can't shed that last pound...

    Hi all, I have not written much lately but I am down to my last pound...for the past three/four weeks. I have lost a total of 32 pounds and have one more to go and can't seem to get rid of it. I have weighed myself at various times during the week and I fluctuate between 126 and 128. This is normal but I can't seem to get to 125. I am not unhappy about this in fact it shows that for the past three weeks I have a good maintenance program going. I am now wearing a size 3-4 instead of a 10-12 so how can I not be happy! I am thrilled! I am not letting this last pound get me down. I am kind of having fun toying with it as it keeps me motivated to stay at the weight I am. To all out there, don't let the fact that you hit a plateau deter you from your goal! Sharon

    Sharon,  I am so very proud of you.  A size 3-4 is AMAZING! Try switching up your workouts.  Try doing something you have never done before.  Maybe your body is just stuck in a habit.  Add in a little extra water and be excited about you loss.  You will get there.  I can't wait to be there.  When I started out at 155 pounds I was wearing a size 14 in pants.  Friday I went shopping and found I am down to a size 6!!  I am 136 now and think I want to be 120.  Good luck to you.  I have been off track fo about 6 weeks now and I am doing very well as of June 10th.

    CONGRATULATIONS...Try vamping up your workout routine! I also suggest talking to a personal training and getting a free consultation!

    Hello,

    I was having the same struggle myself. I almost become obsessed with getting on scale to lost that last one lb. Then I dared myself that simce I am  was going onto a 'maintaince' program shortly, that I would try to pretend I lost that last one or two lbs, and see if I could maintain the weight.

    I did not get on scale for 1 week.

    When I did, I found Ihad lost not only the 1 lb but 3 lbs.

    Trust in your ability tomake the right choices.
