    granola?

can anyone give me any ideas on a store bought granola to buy? something that tastes good and falls in the proper fat and calorie range. something to eat with yogurt. i really like yogurt, but like it more with a "crunch'.

i know there are many recipes for granola you can prepare. and that is okay. however, i'd prefer to have something i can buy then, measure out.

    suggestions?

    thanks.

    Re: granola?

I can, cause that's my favorite breakfast.  1/2 cup of non-fat yogurt, 1/2 c frozen berries, 1/2 c granola and a little flax seed for extra fiber = 230 calories and 2 grams of fat.

I used to eat Nature's Path organic soy granola (Whole Foods, Trader Joe's) but have since discovered a even better tasting granola at Trader Joe's -- Trader Joe's Lowfat Granola with Almonds.  Granola is very caloric, so when you're comparing labels, be sure to check the serving size.

    Enjoy!

    Re: granola?

I am not sure about the calories and fat in this one, but I love Bear Naked granola.  It is really tasty, made with no preservatives or artificial flavorings.  They are also not greedy on the ingredients, they use whole nuts etc.  I can usually find in in any grocery store here, I live in Texas.
