I am a relatively active person I go to the gym at least 4 to 5 times a week, I play on a softball team and my boyfriend and i go on frequent hikes. My problem is that my metabolism has always been extremely slow, I have to watch what i eat to an extreme just to stay around 140, i have been hovering around 140-150 for the past year and I am really ready to break this and reach my lower goal weight. My boyfriend insists i look fine, but honestly i just want to feel better about myself and my clothes and all that. I have looked into everything, the smart for life cookie diet, nutra system, i have done atkins (you just gain it all back and i have an advanced science background so I know the cons to putting your body into ketosis). I did not think i could stick to eating those cookies all the time and pre-prepared meals just would not work with my lifestyle. I am very concern about the treatment effects, if i just eat below my target fat per meal should I be okay with all that stuff? I am really excited to try it, but I am concerned about the effects. I eat pretty healthy, my down falls are definitely cheese, and swedish fish! And do you all follow this meal plan exactly? I was going to just eat appropriately, fruits, veggies and low fat lean protein and see how it goes.
It's great to read all these awesome posts! I need someone to calm me down about the treatment effects. I am starting it tomorrow and need to not be so scared! haha
