Help - I have no energy!

Hi,  I'm new to Alli and am now on my 5th day.  I can feel that I am losing weight but yesterday and today I am so tired and have no energy, all I want to do is curl up and sleep.  I am exercising, walking 2-3 miles each day.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Your body may just be adjusting to your new eating and exercise routine.  If you are not taking vitamins, this is the time to start.  If you are still feeling tired, you might want to check with your dr, and make sure your thyroid is active.  That (I can tell you by experience) will make you very tired.

Good Luck and hang in there.

    Hi Judy,

I have thyroid issues too and have taken meds for it for about 10 years now.  I'd forgotten, but yes, I was tired all the time back then.  The Alli food plan has boosted my energy level considerably.  It's amazing how much junk I now realize I'd been putting in my body.  Garbage in, garbage out :-)

    Good Luck!

    Mary

    Hi Ruth,

Sorry to hear that you don't have enough energy to exercise.  I can tell that I didn't have any energy for the first month either.  I didn't force myself to exercise.  It took a month before I had the energy to finally give it a go.  Tomorrow is my 1 year anniversary from when I started my Alli diet.  I've lost 50 lbs and have tons of energy.  I exercise 5 days a week.  I go to the gym three of those days for weight training and walk/run after dinner.  My body is more fit than ever and I'm so proud of myself for taking that first walk and not giving up.  I am taking a speech class and have done all my speeches on weight loss.  Tomorrow I talk about beginning a walking routine and one of my points is to start slowly and don't be afraid of only a twenty minute walk, or two ten minute walks.  Just go at your own pace.  The energy will come!!

    Chris
