    I am having a set back

    I have been on alli for a week and have done great , until this past weekend.

    I know "only been on a week"....big deal , right? Well for me that is awesome.

    I mean I have been taking my pills this weekend but it seems all I want to do it is

    EAT EAT and EAT some more.

    Does anyone else get that way?

    if so, how do you cope with it ?

    does it get easier as the days go on?

    Hello my name is Heather and I am starting a new journey to a healthier, happier ME!!!!!! I cant wait. I have tried numerous diets many times and here I am again on this new program. I do believe with a strong will, mindset, will power and tons of support I am going to achieve my goal of weight loss and happiness and be the person my son can be proud to call "MOM".

    Drink some water or get up and move around. Do something to take your mind off eating.

    Oh yes!!!!!  I have many days like that.  Especially if I am totally stressed to the max at work.  All I can think about is what I would like to eat next.  But, you have to focus and just remember that what ever you do has results you may or may not like.  I try to keep healthy snacks with me.  Drink plenty of water.  It will help the feeling of being full.  Chew gum, try to keep moving.  If you can stay busy you wont think about it.  I think we all have days like that.  Don't be hard on your self.  Especially try not to think about it too much.  Just think about what you eat before you eat it.  Is it worth it.  We are here for you.

    I agree with the former post.

    Stay busy.

    There will come a time where you will have to REMEMBER to eat...rather than THINK about eating all the time.

    It's about retraining.

    Oh yeah, I've had a day or two like that this weekend and I've been craving everything that is not good for me, too. Like everyone else has said, stay busy.  I grab a bag of raw peanuts, a bottle of water, and head for our park. (The squirills in our park will take you down if you don't bring a peace offering of peanuts. They remind me of the Munchkins following Dorithy in The Wizard of Oz.) The activity helps and the more water you drink, the better.  If you are really hungry try munching on raw veggies. Baby carrots work for me.
