JakesMommy:
I am doing WW points and Alli I just want to know how the others who aredoing this combo of WW & Alli are doing? I been a little confused lately if I am going to get results w/ Alli using the point system I doubt I am getting the 19g's of fat Alli recomends I get in a day let alone a meal... I just need to know how yall are doing so I can determine if I need to try the MyAlliplan fat and cal counting or stick with WW's since it is so familiar to me?

Hi :) And to answer your question, I've been on WW since April 7th, lost 19 pounds and plateaued for three weeks. Decided to try alli (again) to break my plateau and I started on it last Monday afternoon. It worked beautifully! I stuck to WW all the way, and not only did I finally crack 20 pounds but I lost 7 lb this week. Sounds like alot but it still gives me an average of 1.67 lb per week loss since I started back in April. This gives me a total of 26 pounds - yay!
I think the WW plan works beautifully with alli. I'm logging all my foods on paper (instead of using WW's online food tracker) and the only difference in eating I've noticed is this: I have to spread my fat intake out over my three meals, rather than saving up for dinner. It was a bit of an adjustment the first few days but I've got it now.
I don't really use the alli meal plans at all, except for ideas for things to add to my menu. And the beauty of all of this is that if you faithfully limit your sugar intake, and your fat intake, and watch your portions (all biggies for me), it seems the calories (and the points) take care of themselves.
Hope this helps.
