Oven Fried Chicken with Mustard Greens

    Hi All,

I'm from Nevada but had to ask y'all if anyone has had any success with this particular Alli recipe.  I'm a pretty good cook, which is why I put on so much weight over the years and didn't think when I read the ingredients and cooking process that it would work out very well.  This chicken turned out horrible and nothing like the golden brown picture shown.

Does anyone have a good oven fried chicken recipe?

    Thanks for any input!

    Hi Mary,

The way I make oven fried chicken is...I dip chicken breasts in egg whites and then put them in a bowl that has cajun seasoning and finely ground Fiber One cereal (the original).

Good luck on your alli journey and the hunt for a wonderful oven fried chicken recipe!

Thanks very much, Patti.  I didn't think of using cereal.  Great idea!

I have used corn flakes crushed very fine and then I spray lightly with Pam before I bake in the oven and have found this makes it just like frying the chicken.

Hi all!  This one is easy - this is one of my favorites!!!  Secret ingredients are buttermilk and your favorit bran flakes.

Thaw and clean chicken.  While thawing chicken - prepare bran flakes by crushing them, add 1/8 tsp of salt, then galric, then papricka,

then black pepper, and any other of your favorite dry seasonings.  Mix with crushed bran flakes- set a side.  Add chicken to bowl of butter milk.  Piece by piece coat with seasoned bran flakes mix and add to pam sprayed foil.  When all pieces are arranged on foil

drizzle olive oil over.  Bake until done.  Let me know how you like it!!!!

Party now- why wait for tomorrow!!!!  :)
