     Well, b/w tom and overeating/not working out from stomach bug recovery, I am up a little, so it's back to work!

    I found so neat low-cal/high-fat treats. Blue Diamond almonds (unsalted) came out w/some diff. flavors in a little cannister. I have bought (but haven't opened all) -Sea Salt, Cinnamon Brown Sugar, and Vanilla Bean. 24 almonds, 160-170 calories, 14-15 fat grams, low sugar and sodium overall. East way to get fat in. 

    I found a recipe on the dessert part of Alli message board and tried it, twice now: pineapple angel food cake. Just get a box of angel food mix and a can of crushed pineapple (I think a regular size can is somewhere around 15 oz). Mix, juice and all, and bake at the temperature and time listed on the box of the angel food cake box. It is fat free. I know it has sugars and carbs, but if you need a little variety, it's great!

     Happy Friday ladies! Kendra & Rhonda I hope you two get to feeling better soon!! I would hate to be SICK in the Summer, but I wouldnt mind a good case of Mono or something so I couldnt eat for a couple of days to help drop the next three lbs. I fell asleep around 6:30 pm last night - it's rained here in Central FL EVERYDAY this month, typically around late afternoon on, the last couple of days has been an all day event...it's killing me. I havent gone to the gym because of my knee, but I did work out at home a little last night and the previous. I woke up at 11:40, text a friend and decided to get up at 12:30 and do my dishes, clean my stove and microwave...went back to sleep at 2am and up at 5:40 for work, so I grabbed a Mt. Dew to keep me awake because today is going to be a long day, I should be out of work by 2, but then I have to go to the gym, do laundry and clean my house and then I'm going out with a coworker tonight and then I have company coming over as well...eek!

    I am starting to feel so bummed about my knee. I am starting to get back on track because I'm processing with a new agency so I am feeling like I'm going somewhere, and I have an interview in a week and a half, so it feels like it's real again, but I've done EVERYTHING - PT, R.I.C.E (mabye not as much as I could be), the leg exercises, I started stretching, and I stretch at home sometimes just to do it without working out...and still I feel aches, it's like an arthritis ache which the dr said is probably going to affect me for a long long time since I was misdiagnosed and it's that kind of injury that causes osteoarthritis and this dramatic weather here probably isn't helping.

     Good morning! Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a great weekend.

    I'm down 1 lb. I actually expected to gain. I didn't eat at all Friday, just kind of slipped my mind, I had a glass of wine with a gf from work...I was awake from 5:40 am Friday until 9:00 pm Saturday evening...

    I am 4 lbs away from being out of the 150's - something that hasn't happened in a long, long, long time - so that's my main goal for the last two weeks of July - to be 149 or less. I can def. do it. I was planning to go straight to the gym today after work, but I have to go home and wait on Safe Lite to come - they replaced my windshield Saturday and totally destroyed the weather stripping - it had a little crack and that crack is still there - he just chopped up the rest of it, so they have to come look at it and they should plan to replace it because the bottom of the windshield is now exposed. So I'll go after they leave.

    Hey all!


    What started out as a rough morning shapped up.  I got a flat and it took me forever to change it but i finally did...was pretty late to work.  I slipped a little at lunch and had some flan that a coworker brought in.  I did jump on the scale when changing for the gym and saw 139.5 and then i reweighed myself a min later and was 141.  Either way the scale said 139.5 for a minute which was exciting.  i am starting to look foward to friday's weigh in even though i'm going out to eat tomorrow.  Also i walked for an hour at the gym on an incline.  I was sick of the ellpical and i had a good book.  Anyways i hope your week is going well!

    I am so happy this week ~ I checked in for a 2 pound weight loss.  I am at 153 ( and have been for the last two mornings).  Two more punds to lose to hit my first mini goal  of 151 and three until I am out of the 150's!  I can't wait!!  Today was also a good day with dance class; however, I made spaghetti for everyone for dinner.  I hope I didn't mess it up to much.  We'll see in the morning.  I am also getting nervouse about vacation ~ 8 days in Williamsburg, Virginia beginning August 3rd. This is our 5th year where we stay in a condo with a full kitchen so I can control what happens there, it's the eating out that scares me.  I really haven't eaten out since being on Alli.  I've eaten at Subway, Pannera Bread, and a German restaurant.  The family wants to do Outback, Hooters, and a pizza joint while on vacation.  At the Outback, the salads are great (I'll provide my own dressing), at the pizza place I'll eat two slices of thin crust cheese pizza, but, Hooters really scares me because I am a wing "nut".  I will eat all wings in sight and drink the leftover sauce because it is so good.  I am going to make myself sick. Help. Have any of you stoped Alli for a week to enjoy "life" then went back on it.  If I lose great, stay the same weight okay, but if I gain, I will be mortified.  Anyway, this week began wonderfully!  I need to focus on that for now . . .

     Good morning ladies! I was starting to wonder where everyone went!

    So I have an interview next Wednesday and start testing with another Law Enforcement Agency on Aug 8, in which I'll take the physical agility test - it's easy, I've already taken it once...well I decided that it's time to start running again since it's finally "real" again and I have potential jobs again so I went to the gym Monday and ran for 10 minutes. The thing about my knee injury - I havent been able to run since May, and I couldnt get past 5 minutes without pain...so I didn't realize how quickly I'd lose my endurance. So I got my exercise enduced anylphalaxis under control again, and decided I have to do it...so Monday I went and ran 10 minutes, NO PAIN. I got home, iced the knees and fell asleep, around 11pm I woke up feeling like someone was trying to cut my knee cap with a kitchen knife, and then Tuesday was an all day battle of pain. So I spent all of Tuesday night under the heating pad. Yesterday morning I knew I had to run after work so I took a pain pill. I went to the gym right after work - the dif. is that Monday I didnt stretch. So I stretched for about 10-15 minutes and then I ran for 11 minutes no pain - went home and did the heating pad thing, took a pain pill, and as of right now no pain...so today is a rest day and then tomorrow I'll run 12 minutes and 13 on Sunday. I am trying to slowly ease back into running to keep my knees healthy but I also need to gain my endurance so I'm going to add a minute each run.

    I feel fantastic. I hope everyone else is having a great week. And good luck with your Friday weigh ins!

     Thanks Kendra. I hope not either. I'm heading to the gym after work tonight, I'm really tired and out of it so I'm just going abs, thighs, and running for 12 minutes. I have been adding a minute each run and so far so good.

      I did end up in the ER yesterday. I had a really bad allergic reaction to the pain pill I was given for my knee: Tramadol. It's a "unique" pill according to the ER doctor. I took it once in May and didnt like how I felt so I didn't take it, but I also chalked it up to the fact I took two within 4 hours. So I didn't stretch Monday and was in alot of pain Tuesday. So to ensure I'd be okay to run Wednesday I took a pill in the am...and then I took one about 2am yesterday, and I came to work and was just feeling disconnected and almost drunk, and then I started breaking out in a rash, hives and was itching uncontrollabley. So I was given an IV of benedryl, some steroid and valium to calm me down because I caused a panic attack because the reaction freaked me out - so that little cocktail knocked me out. So needless to say those pills were flushed as soon as I got home.

      I feel better today, but still out of it. I had a really bad headache from whatever they gave me and it just went away this morning. So I'm going to do a simple work out tonight, beach to relax tomorrow and weigh in on Sunday.

     Good Morning ladies!!

    It's been a while since I wrote anything here. I've had a rough month. I guess it has to do with losing too much on my first month (June 12lbs.) This month my body just decided to slow down and also I guess I haven't given all my best thiking it'd be just as easy as last month. For a moment I even gained about 2 lbs. I started July at 158, and I am 153 today!!! I haven't worked out this week, I thought I could give my body a break from the gym and dieting. I shall get back to my routine next Monday. I really wanted to break the 150's by first of August but I guess it's ok if I just lose 5lbs for July. All I know right now is that I am 18lbs away from reaching my GOAL!!

    So my sister in law visited us this week, she hadn't seen me since April and she asked right away what I had done. Last time I saw her I was really getting serious about getting a lipo. She says I look great and she can tell the difference. That was a real good motivator, to know that there is a difference and people can already tell. My sister in law is very athletic and I used to feel kind of embarrased because of my weight when she would come visit. This time I felt some confidence.

    I can do this. I've already lost 17lbs. so 18lbs more is a piece of cake. I am giving myself 3 1/2 months to do it at a pace of 5lbs per month.
