    "you look so svelte"

I dont think that I ever get tired of hearing that!  Its jeans day today, and I am able to wear them now, and have people tell me I look, skinny, slim and svelte.  Thanks Alli!!

    Re: "you look so svelte"

Judi, Judi, Judi, (did you know Cary Grant never said that?), I am so proud of you!  You have stuck with this through thick and thin, (pardon the pun), and now you are reaping the rewards.  I know that as you continue to hear that for the rest of your life you will continue to beam at the words.  I'm glad that you are accepting that you are svelte.  I know we have both commented how we just don't see what others see when we look in the mirror.  Hopefully now you can!

Judy (Cary never said that either)

    Re: "you look so svelte"

Congrats on your new look.  I'm done with my weight loss portion of the program.  A lot of people say that I'm to thin.  I've lost about 85 pounds and now have started to gain muscle. I've been working out about 4 times a week.   I just love it when people say that I'm to thin.  I've never been called that in my life until now.

    Re: "you look so svelte"

It took me about 9 months to loose the weight.  I lost on average, two pounds a week while on Alli.  I've been on maintenance for about 5 months now.  still maintaining too.  I now weigh between 165-168.  I've been there for the whole time.  I have been gaining muscle though and probably losing more fat.  I can tell too.  The difference in how you will feel when you attain your desired weight will be like night and day.  I don't know how old you are, but i'm 57 and I just applied for supplemental life insurance and my medical test results were so good that the insurance agent reduced the rate by $10.00 a month for the next 5 years.  The test results say  I'm in perfect health.  My wife is 6 years younger than me and she was two levels below me in the physical ratings.  The rewards are not only better health, but as you can see, better in collateral areas too.  I don't come on the boards very much anymore because there isn't much for us folks in maintenance mode.  Good luck to you.  I'm a new person again.

    Re: "you look so svelte"

Congratulations Dave on the good health checkup.  I love your success story.  There's nothing better than getting a good medical checkup report.  I miss your posts and would love it if you would get into the "Alinka, Buzz and Judy, Where Is Everyone" thread that Elia started.  Several of the "old timers" post there, (it really doesn't have anything to do with the title anymore), and you might enjoy sharing what is going on in your life now, as well as the tips that keep you honest.  Anyone else who is reading this is welcome there also of course.  I wouldn't say any of us are as "svelte' as you and Judi, but hey, that's what we're working towards!

    Judy
