Staying at home really helped. I made cornish hens in the crock pot, and measured out enough the size of a deck of cards, then had veggies to go with it, with a 1/4 cup of mashed potatoes.
On Saturday I had a healthy choice meal for lunch with a slice of bread and butter to get the extra fat and calories needed. Then for dinner I had a salad with added mushrooms, tomato, and apple slices. My husband hardly eats anything because he's ill, so we don't always eat the same thing. So, for me to make a salad for dinner is pretty ordinary. So, for the weekend I've done really well.
Yesterday while I was looking for the fat and calorie count for my healthy choice dinner, I nearly had a heart attack! I looked at the high fat, high calorie one my husband had eaten. It said 25 g of fat. I thought, "How could I read that wrong in the store?" I knew I had already taken my blue pill, so I thought I would be in a bunch of trouble. Then I realized I looked at the Marie Collander dinner instead! Whew! Mine was 4 g of fat. I'm pretty proud of how good I'm doing so far, but I am writing everything down, and keeping my nutrition log on this site. It helps, I think. I know in the past I've been really good on diets for about 3 weeks, then I get bored, so I know that taking this little pill really helps keep those fat grams down.
