    What can I do?

    I am excited about taking the first step to helping myself with my weight again.  I had lost 90 lbs about 12 years ago, then I had a car accident that left me with physical limitations.  My Father passed away and life happens.  I have gained all the weight back and need to lose it to help with the level of pain that I am in.

    My question is this, since I can not do any form of workouts not even walking, does anyone have any suggestions as to what I can do?  I am waiting on back surgery and until I have the surgery even walking is out because of the pain level and the fact that after about 3 minutes I will be tripping with my left leg.

    Thank you everyone for all the great reading, I can hopefully be able to cheer someone later also.

    I'm right there with you.  I have a prosthetic left leg and have been looking for an exercise program I like and will stick with.  I was just reading the posts on chair exercises and might give that a try.  Maybe that's something you can do too.

    Hi Jolinden,

    I'm sorry to hear about your recent setbacks.

    If you don't have clearance from your doctor to do any exercising, that doesn't mean you can't follow your alli diet plan. If you get accustomed to eating a proper diet now, you'll experience many health benefits and weight loss immediately. When you are ready to begin exercising again post surgery, you'll already have the one aspect of the alli plan (the diet) as a part of your daily routine. Stay positive and motivated.

    This week I stick with my alli plan, I did not exersice at all I'm I loose 3 pound

    Hi Candy,

    Great job with your weight loss.  But, don't get into the routine of not being consistent with your exercising (cardio and weight training).  The combination of diet and exercise that the program recommends, is the best way to achieve your goals.

    Stay motivated and continue to challenge yourself.
