OK ... I tried to upload a picture to my profile yesterday - it still says it's pending - yet I can upload one of "your" icons and it goes immediately.

I tried again today to upload a picture - and it now gives me an error msg.  I noticed some of the folks have been able to upload their pictures.   I made sure my photo was 2mg or less ... :(  :(

So why does it take so long to upload a picture when you go to change it ???  I'm assuming they also have to approve all pictures ???  I change (cropped it) my pic on Wednesday and I'm still waiting for it to show up :(  :(

 Yes, they must all be approved. One of your pictures wasn't showing up at all, it just had the "x" placeholder.

Did you also upload a photo of a child? Allowing children pictures as avatars is still under discussion because of the the 18+ policy.

I uploaded a pic of my grandkids under hubby's id .... guess I need to find one of him, huh?

WOnder why my 2nd one didn't work - it was the wedding photo, I just cropped it to it was more head/neck and not full body.  Guess I'll try again !!  I knew better than to try to upload that nude one of me ... people would ge jealous hahahaha

Just uploaded 2 different ones - guess it'll be another wait and see !!!  (guess they haven't guessed yet that patience is NOT one of my virtues haha)

I cant figure out how to upload a picture at all

On your profile page there is a link to "edit my preferences". In the edit section you can do a number of things, including adding your picture. Click on the "upload photo" button and select a saved image of yourself. Upload it, preview it, change it if you want, and then save it. All photos must be monitored before they are on the site, but you should see your photo appear within 24 hours. You can also select an icon to display until your image appears.
