    Re: Reporting for July 7/8

    Hiii.

I am having a bit more trouble than I though navigating this new layout for the website which is why I couldn't find the july challenge thread.

    July 7th: 1 point

    1790/52 g of fat

    July 8th: 2 Points

30 minutes on the tread... ran 1 mile then walked the rest of the time for a total of 2.3miles. This is the first time I have excercised since my surgery and it was a little rough. I was having some major cramping in my upper abdomen.

    1653/61

It feels darn good to be back :)

    Reporting for: July 8th

    3 points!

Indoor: 40 minutes total-30 minutes arc trainer; 10 minutes ab work

Outdoor: 30 minutes total-10 minutes jumping on our trampoline in the back yard; 5 minutes on swings(pumping legs...I think this counts as cardio?lol;) 15 minutes power walk with the puppy.

    Nutrition: 1600/43...within range!

Bobbi, Patti, Cher, Carol, Sharon, Melissa: Thank you ladies so much for your congratulations!  You girls are awesome!

Tina:I am so sorry about your husband.  He is definitley in my prayers.

Lynn: So glad you decided to stay!

Patti: Unfortunately, I'm not down the shore anymore. :(  I work 6 days(sometimes 7) a week, so I barely get a chance to go down, but it was an awesome trip.  I got to spend some time with my family and a few friends from school.  I'm hoping to go down this Saturday too though.  We'll see how things go.  Also, I'm so glad you're feeling better!  Having the flu is awful!

WOW!  I can't believe the heat that a lot of you ladies live in!  I was complaining today and it was only 89 here in PA!  This sure puts things in perspective! lol

    Re: Tuesday, June 8

Brittany & Patti - they accidentally left of the area where we could update our signatures under our profile. They have definately been made aware of if and are working on getting it fixed - thank goodness!

    Indoor - strength training 30 min = 1pt

    Outdoor - 30 min walk = 1pt

    Cal/Fat - on target = 1pt

    3 pts total

I just wanted to say congratulations to everyone who has lost weight, is surviving in the heat, and who have elected to stay with the challenge! I know it's difficult to do the outside stuff in the heat, and I can't really be in the sun during the intense hours, so I have to either walk earlier or later in the day! Hey, at least it warmed up here - we're generally in the 80's!

Stay cool ladies and remember to drink LOTS of water!!!

    Reporting Tuesday, July 8

Day 2 Report, Tuesday July 8

    Bobbi - 3 points

    • 1 point = Outdoor Activity - 30 minutes - took my dogs for a 1.5 mile walk before work :-)
    • 1 point = Indoor Activity - Firm DVD - 35 minutes
    • 1 point = Intake Target - Met Calories/Fat Grams

Lynn - So glad to hear you're staying!! Good for you!

Patti - Just gotta love those early morning heatwaves - stinks to have to have the air on in the car for the commute to work when it's only 7am.  As far as the Almond Butter - OMG that sounds so good - especially homemade - I'm jealous!!

Kelley - Way to make a comeback after surgery - I can't believe you ran for a mile and walked the rest.  I couldn't run for a block :-)  Very impressive!!

Melissa and all my kindred Hot Spotters - Although we're suffering right now, it sure is worth it the rest of the year when we have such pleasant weather!!  We'll get through the heat/humidity, but unfortunately it already feels like it's going to be a long, hot summer!!

Carol Joy - Thank you once again for the challenge - you don't know how good it feels to be back in the fold!!  and...

    HAPPY BIRTHDAY YOUNG LADY!!

We all did great yesterday!!  Have a wonderfully Active Wednesday Everyone!!
