Hi MarnaBJones,
Great insight! You are so right that the modern day conveniences and over-abundances that our society provides has gotten us into a real unhealthy situation. Long ago we used to have to physically work and provide the food that was put on our table. We now have more than we need and are more sedentary than ever! It is what has promoted many of the chronic illnesses that we suffer from today! Research has shown that physical inactivity is one of the root problems, effecting all realms of metabolism, promoting obesity, diabetes, heart disease, some forms of cancers, and so on and so on! Our sedentary lifestyles has reeked havoc on our society as a whole and in every area of our lives from our government, health care, finances, emotional and mental states, etc!
I, too, would like to challenge all of us to get up and move! Take the stairs, get outside after dinner and take a walk or play in the yard, go for a bike ride, and make regular, structured exercise a priority in your lives! With the help of alli, a healthy, clean diet and exercise, we'd all see amazing changes in our souls, minds and bodies!
Best in health! Your friend in fitness,
Kelli
