    omega supplement

I take a combination omega 3, 6, 9 supplement with each meal for heart health.  I start taking the capsules on Monday.  Should I continue with my supplement while taking alli?

    Re: omega supplement

    Hi busybee12478,

You can continue to take your omega supplements but you will need to change the timing of the dose, since Alli will block some of their absorption if taken within 2 hours of each other.

Are you required to a a specific supplement?  There are many omegas that can be taken once daily, since they are fat soluble.

    Hope this helps.

     busybee12478,

I just posted a question on the omega 3,6,9 supplement, my friend was telling me this is also suppose to help your skin to tighten up while loosing, do you know if this is true or not?

    Re: omega supplement

     Hi Skelly331,

Unfortunately supplements do not tighten up the skin, especially if a large amount of weight is lost and you are left with some flab of skin.  To date only surgery treats this.

The Omega fish oils though are a great supplement for other reasons, such as their positive effect on the heart and brain.  It is also good for your skin.

Losing weight gradually and exercising may help lessen loose skin flabs, it really depends on how much fat you are losing.

    Hope this helps.
