Re: What is up with WW

the treatment effect is yellowish, orange fat oily bubbles in your bowel movement.  Becareful when you pass gas cause its more than what you want.  guess that is the fat leaving my body.  Not good at all.....Tammy

Re: What is up with WW

I experienced the same thing at my WW meeting tonight.  I have been going to WW for five weeks and started Alli last Friday.  Up until this week I had lost 9.6 lbs.  Tonight when I weighed in I had lost an additional 3.8 lbs.  Sounds like the two programs are working well together, PLUS I have had not "treatments" yet because I am already eating a lower fat diet than I had been.

The same thing happened to me tonight at my WW meeting.  I have been on WW for five weeks and started Alli this past Friday.  I had lost a little over 9 lbs in the five weeks and tonight I had lost at additional 4 lbs.  Sounds like the two programs are working pretty well together.

Re: What is up with WW

Hi Tricia, I have a question. I just went back on WW, and started alli yesterday.  Anyway I was wondering are you doing ww plan and taking alli, or are you counting all the calories and fat grams, i have been doing the calories and fat grams seems like it would just be easier to follow my points. Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.

                                              Thanks, Cathy

Re: What is up with WW

Steph, If you quit smoking that makes loosing weight so hard.  I guit smoking but started to diet and exercise right away.  I have slowly been loosing but it's very hard.  I should be loosing like 5 pounds a week with all the exercise I do and how well I stick to my WW plan.  However, it's only been coming off slowly and do I mean slowly.  I have not weighed in yet with my first week on Alli.  So I'm hoping that will help move the process a little faster.

Re: What is up with WW

    Hi Alika,

I too am a newbie to Alli (started today) and to ww (started 3 weeks ago), AND a Maryland resident.  I have lost 2 lbs each week on ww (total just over 6 lbs) and am hoping that Alli combined with ww will help the weight come off even quicker.  My goal is 40 lbs or a size 6, whichever comes first. :-)

Re: What is up with WW

absolutely..agree that you can not save up your points and take alli.  Alli will block 25% of the fat 100% of the time...it does not know you have been good and can have extra fat this meal... it will always keep you honest...you either decide you will splugre and skip that dose or stay true to your plan and take your pill.   Treatment effects or a personal motivator..or persecutor depending on what you choose to do.  Alli would work well with core and used with caution with points but as long as you have become a label reader..total fat grams...it will block fat.

Re: What is up with WW

I'm so glad that someone asked this question. I actually made the mistake of starting a thread on WW asking what people thought of Alli. I'll be darned if I got slammed for even mentioning this product. I was all but made fun of for even bringing it up. I start taking Alli next week (after July 4th). Crossing my fingers..... :)

Re: What is up with WW

Hi Lori... my name is Toni, I am 62 and a former WW'er.  Last year I lost 20 lbs. and went down 2 whole sizes.  Then I stopped smoking and gained it all back - plus another 5 lbs.  I think the 5 lbs. had more to do with the cruise I just returned from.  I am definitely going back to my WW plan, and will start my Alli tomorrow.  I'm glad I found you, too.  Good luck & I hope we keep in touch and can be of support to each other.

Re: What is up with WW

I am so glad to have found this group. I was on WW, then took a two month "hiatus" (ahem, LOL). I went back to WW and also started taking Alli with my evening meal as it's the one where I eat the most fat. Lunch and breakfast, I don't find I need it. I haven't had any TEs and I'm happy to say I think WW and Alli will work great together, and I'm so glad there are a bunch of people who think the same thing!!

Re: What is up with WW

Hi Toni:  my name is Marcia and I will be 60 next Tuesday and am also a former WW'er.  I decided last week that I definitely want to do something for myself so that I feel better and have more energy.  Alli sounded like a good idea.  With WW'ers, I would save up my points and then splurge too often.  I know when I take Alli, I won't be tempted to splurge like that and risk the after affects.  lol  Good luck

Re: What is up with WW

I currently do WW and will along side of Alli, I hoping for bigger weight losses as well.  They're trashing because we're trying something 'new' along w/WW.  I've been a WW for several years and not many successes but I've got several weeks left on this current plan so let's wait and see.  I think if this gives me the 'jump' on my weight I need - GOOD FOR ME..the next step is controlling it forever.

Don't mind those small minded people.  You are doing what works for you and nobody has a right to fault you for it. I'm also following WW and taking Alli...lost 3.5 pounds this week.  I'm loving it!
