    Restarting Alli

Well I finally made the move to get back on the program. I lost almost 20lbs last year using Alli and then the holidays came around and Bam.... I fell off the wagon. I gained back all of the weight I had lost.

So here I am again..... You know, we dieters have got to get some credit for trying over and over again. You hear about smokers who try to quit over and over and the 'experts" say it takes the average smoker numerous tries to quit smoking. If they suceed at all.

Each time we say, "this will time I can do it !"

I have seen first hand that Alli works, I have just got to stick with it this time. Hey at least it's 5 months 'til Christmas.....

    Re: Restarting Alli

It isn't important how many times we try to lose weight and fail, or we manage to lose weight only to gain it back.  The important thing is whether we keep trying.  The good thing is that you lost 20 lbs using Alli, so you know how it works; you know what to do.  Hey, by Christmas you can be quite a bit slimmer.  What a fun time of year to dazzle everybody!  Let us know how you're doing.

    Re: Restarting Alli

I am in the same boat. Almost exactly. 20 pounds gone, and all gained back, plus a little more. I'm back now and praying I can stay with it. It is the only way I've found to lose the weight. I know with this I can do it and keep it off. Just have to stick with it!

    Re: Restarting Alli

    Hi everyone!

I was hoping to find others like me who came back to give alli another try.

I started  alli shortly after the new year and was doing great...i lost almost ten pounds in two weeks. I know its a small victory but it meant a lot to me.

Six months later and i'm starting over again, not to mention i'm ten punds heavier. How sad is that.

I am the heaviest I have ever been and I feel horrible about myself. Trying to remain positive, I've been working out almost everyday for the past two weeks BUT have seen no results. My friend (who is thin & in great shape) says it's because I'm "gaining muscle weight" since i'm doing strength training along with my cardio. Here's hoping...

Well it's come to the point that my jeans are so tight i'm always in sweat pants...yeah i've become what i always feared...

    ANYWAY...

here i go again and i have high hopes!!!

i wish all of you the best and i hope that together we can reach our goals!!!!!
