Hello, Alliadmin3 ---
Past rejections --- for no apparent reasons --- of my postings have caused me to address only the Professional Experts and the Admin. Staff. If THEY deem a posting of mine as helpful to others, they may pass it on. If not, then it will be treated as if confidentially stated, and I will have spoken my peace to someone. Otherwise, I might feel angry and frustrated.
So far, on the Alli Program, I have lost weight steadily. When I got a new Calorie Journal with which to calorie-count, I noticed something I call "calorie creep". A few calories here, a few calories there, from otherwise "calorie-and fat-innocent" foods, and I am liable to exceed the targets! The Journal, therefore, is extremely helpful, before goals are reached and steadily good eating habits are in place. And without 13 pounds of a "ball of fat" to carry around, I actually feel like being more physically active! Not ready to "get new clothes" yet, I don't wheeze while getting into the ones I have, and I no longer look like a "stuffed sausage" while wearing them! If I don't feel as full as I want to, I can fill up on my choice of vegetables and give my guts some fiber to work with, too. One of my "new" protein sources is dried squid, Oriental style of the Asian Persuasion, chalk-white (or very light tan) and bone-dry, never slimy. It provides 90 calories/ounce, and 0.5 g. fat, and 14 g. of protein! If I can "pin down" the type and quality of carbohydrates required, I may end up with a near-perfect diet for my life-style, right?
