    Question: Is it true that...

You should stop eating at least 3 hrs before bedtime? I'm having a hard time eating my 1800 calories unless I eat a little later as well as throughout the day.

Re: Question: Is it true that...

Two to three hours is probably a good idea to have the last amount of food.  For one thing, laying down too soon after eating encourages heartburn in many people.  In addition, sleep is a time for the body to build and repair, rather than digest food.  Again, for some people, digestion may disturb their sleep.

You can reach the 1,800 calories more easily by using less LF and FF foods.  Just one tablespoon of regular salad dressing can give your dinner a boost, for instance.  Also keep in mind that it's very important to have one or two snacks each day.

    I hope this helps.
