    Please help

So Im a little hesitant to go and spend $50.00 on these 90 count pills.  Im scared that it will not work.  How long is 90 pills good for (days or months)?  Im 25 years old with 3 girls, and I weight like 190 lbs.  Im tired of looking like this and this sounds like it would really help me out.  I kind of want to know about it and if it really does work, how long does it take to see any results?  Any help would be greatly appreciated, but my coupon for 10 expires today and walgreens has it onsale as well.  thank you very much!

    Re: Please help

Well three pills a day for 30 days - that is the 90 days.  All I can say is that it doesn't hurt to try it.  I was a skeptic - and if anything - it isn't about the pills as much as it is about the whole program.  I am finding that if I take the time and log my food I get a realistic picture of what I am eating.

When I exercise or don't exercise, I can see why or why not I am losing weight.  The pills are the added bonus of knowing that you are keeping about 25% of the fat you eat from ever digesting allowing you to lose weight faster (in theory).  I think it works - I started a diet May 31 - and I lost 10 lbs on my own in about 6 weeks.  I went on alli and I lost 4.5 lbs my first week (so it was indeed faster).  I lost a total of 14.5 lbs since May 31.

Either way - good luck to you!

    Re: Please help

I'm sorry I didn't see this until today - I hope you went and got your Alli before the coupon expired. I have found that I rarely consume enough fat (5g +) at breakfast to warrant taking a pill so 90 pills will actually last me longer than a month. Remember, you only take a pill when you're eating more than 5g of fat, although some folks take one no matter what. For me, with a toddler, money is tight, as I'm sure it is for you. I cut back where I can, but I'm not cutting out my Alli!

    Re: Please help

     Hi Candice,

If your coupon expired, don't despair.  Go to google or your favorite search engine.  Type in "alli coupon" in the search box.  You'll find more of them out there.  Don't feel pressured by an expiraton date.

If you've been logging on and reading the posts, you'll see that lots of people have had positive results.  You've got to stick to the amount of calories and fat grams though, or the Alli capsule won't help.

If in doubt, follow the meal plan for a few days.  See if you can stick to it.  Actually, there's a lot of food on the menu ever day.  You'll simply learn how much of what to eat and when.

Best of all, you'll find wonderful support buddies no matter what your age group or number of pounds you want to lose.

    Success to you!

    Mary
