Since May 1 to July 25 - Down 3 belt holes

I started taking one Alli each time I eat, on May 1, I still eat chips, bacon, pizza, in fact I have NOT dieted any, I have been eating everything I always did. But my Gosh, the weight is coming off incredibly with ALLI. It's amazing how much weight one must gain and maintain from Fats in food. I have dropped 3 belt holes in size since I started taking ALLI on May 1. I do NOT exercise or watch my eating. Will this continue as long as I take ALLI ? if I eat something really greasy or with butter I do take two ALLI's instead of one. There have been days when I have taken as many as 6 allis with no side effects. I tell everyone I can about ALLI, it really is a weight loss miracle for me anyway.

Great job on the weight loss, but I didn't think you could take over 3 capsules a day--one per meal?

Re: Since May 1 to July 25 - Down 3 belt holes

I have had no bad effects with any increased dosage. I mean you of course have runny stool and don't want to try passing gas while on alli, or you will quite probably mess your britches. The more greasy the food I eat, the more alli I take to elimiate the excess fats. For example, If I have a meal of oatmeal and peaches and coffee with cream, I would take one alli, if I sit and eat 6 slices of pizza I would take two alli beacuse the pizza meal is high in fats. Taking two alli with a high fat meal is going to mean very runny stool to eliminate the fats, and that is all the reactions I have had.

Ive had no head aches or any other problems while taking excess ali, but each person is different. I am doing what has been working great for me, as my weight loss and increased energy levels since I started taking alli have been wonderful.

Re: Since May 1 to July 25 - Down 3 belt holes

I would like to report that as of Aug 5, I am now down 4 belt holes in size. I am starting to get a lot of great comments from folks. Also its very nice being able to have my shirts and pants loose now, instead of being so tight, they used to squeeze my unsightly fat. ALLI has changed my life........ thanks ALLI ! Even if ALLI stopped working today, I believe I have now lost enough weight that I can change my eating habits if needed to lose more weight. I am now able to once again, enjoy getting out and taking a walk up the road without being in severe pain from the weight on my ankles and arches. I tell everyone I can, that needs weight loss, to try ALLI.

WOW!  Thanks so much for the update.  I'm on the prescription strength and don't exercise a whole lot outside of my job and some swimming so it is really fabulous to hear about someone having success without a ton of exercise and still eating the food you love.

Keep up the good work and keep us posted.

    Congrats!

    Hi Twtroll,

Congratulations on your success! I realize how great it feels to have accomplished what you have, but I have to recommend that you stick with the guidelines for taking alli. You should only take one pill per meal and stick with your fat and calorie goals. You want to learn to make changes that you will be able to lose the weight and then keep it off without taking alli. If you begin to make these changes now it will be easier to stick with them down the road.

I wish you lots of continued success,

    Lifestyle Changing

    Betty

It's strange you replied at this time, as of Aug 1, that's exactly what I have been doing. Im slowly starting to phase out a lot of the bacon, sausage, and heavy butter uses. Ive switched to skim milk from drinking whole milk for years. What is also a nice change, is I am now as stated earlier, Im getting out and walking again. I am even planning on walking to work once in awhile. ALLI has given me the desire to change my life, I now have the great goal of being slender or a lot leaner than I have been in 30 years, by age 50. I have 12 months to go........

My short term goal is to drop two more belt holes my this years end, that gives me over 4 months to do that. Then on or around Jan 1, slow down a lot or maybe cease ALLI. I want to state that since I started taking ALLI I have also started a daily vitamin dosage of multivitamin, B complex, zinc, etc

It sure is great though, feeling a lot better about myself and fitting in very old clothing and getting some great compliments, all thanks to ALLI.

Not to get sexual, but ALLI seems to have also restored a lot of energy to a male body part of mine also, I had no idea that being very overweight was what caused it to not work good,  anyway I am like a teen again with that........ let's leave it at that. LOL

I have dropped 5 Belt holes now !

Hi everyone! I just wanted to let everyone know that as of August 29, I am now down 5 belt holes in size. ALLI has changed my life, my goal was to become slender or almost slender by age 50. I just turned 49 on August 23, and ALLI is making my dream come true. For anyone that has been thinking of trying ALLI, or for those that have just started, I say it's the best diet aid to ever come along. Folks say it's not a magical weight pill, I say BULLCRAP to that, ALLI has been a weight loss pill for me. Thanks ALLI  and thanks to GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare.

Re: Since May 1 to July 25 - Down 3 belt holes

I debated whether or not to comment to you but after considering what you have written,I had to respond.  I think it is super that Alli is working for you, and with no change in your part.  That is the part that concerns me...what do you think is going to happen when you go off Alli and you have not changed your eating habits/atttudes about food??? Most of us have gotten heavy because our attitudes about food, exercise , nutrition and discipline are lopsided or non-existant.  The Alli is meant to be used as a "tool" towards weight loss and a healthy lifestyle, not a quick fix for a long term issue.  Truly, we all celebrate with you on your weight loss but (and I mean this from my heart) you gotta get your head straight if you want to keep the weight off.

    Best of luck,

    Laura

    Change was noted

    Hi Laura

Im glad you did respond, if you had read the earlier posts, you would of noted: 'Im slowly starting to phase out a lot of the bacon, sausage, and heavy butter uses. Ive switched to skim milk from drinking whole milk for years. What is also a nice change, is I am now as stated earlier, Im getting out and walking again.'

Im now walking every day....... on my days off, I sometimes go for as many as 6 walks.

Im getting away from TV, I have phased out bacon, and chips etc. Im eating bananas now and apples. There was a time when on a weekend Id stop at the local store and buy as many as 20 full size candy bars, and eat them all over the weekend while watching tv. Or on a friday after work, I woud buy a $8 cake and eat the whole thing myself by saturday afternoon.

Now if I get the munchies I eat a few crackers, or some celery, apples etc. I am coming to realize to eat when I am really hungry, not to eat because I have food around. I want to stop alli by Jan 1....... yes Laura, Im changing my eating thoughts, habits, and my lifestyle........ then again, alli has made it all possible, its giving me a spark and goal in life.

    Re: Change was noted

    Hi Rwtroll,

I am happy to hear that you have been making the changes to your diet and activity. I am sure that there are other people who found that starting off with taking the pill gave them the motivation to make the changes to their eating. I appreciate your honesty in your posts and am very happy to hear about the success that you have been having!

    Keep up the great work,

    Update

Hi everyone! I would like to report that as of today: Sep 14th (Sunday) I am now down 6 belt holes....... I am walking for 30-45 minutes each night after work, doing it in brisk 15 minute walks at a time, with a 30 min cooling down time in between walks. I am learning to eat when I am hungry or lets say, I am learning to eat like we should. I used to eat just because there was food around......... Remember the simple weight loss rule a doctor told me: IF YOU EAT LESS CALORIES THEN YOUR BODY BURNS FOR ENERGY - YOU WILL LOSE WEIGHT!
