    Thanks ladies, I had a wonderful time, it was too short and way too hot, but the kids had a good time and we got in lots of shopping and walked everywhere!

    My glutes are pretty sore and work is busy, so I took a day off from both types of exercise.  Today, this break feels good.

     kathy reporting 3 points.. went to the gym tonight,ran almost 3 miles on the eliptical machine for 30 minutes at level 7..  seriously..i really got hot and sweaty.. then moved downstairs and did leg weight stuff... logged my food and was all in the green except for that darn sodium again..i will drink lots of water and flush it out... 3 points again for me today..

    highest weight all time 197 size 20 12/26/07 alli start weight 187 size 18 - 11/3/08 157  size 12 - GOAL weight 135 size 8 ...every journey starts with the first step.. after that it is one foot in front of the other

    Sharon and Jane: I definitely know what you mean about feeling stuck. I seem to get stuck every 3-5 pounds or so. I have 3 or 4 weeks where I don't lose at all then 3 or 4 weeks where I lose about a pound a week. So frustrating! Sharon good luck getting to 159.

    Good morning ladies! I hear you about feeling stuck. For the past month I don't feel like I've gotten anywhere! Hopefully, now that the kids are back in school, things will straighten out and I'll get back in gear!

    Jayne, As I recall, you started on your weight loss a few months ago.  Like Kari, you made really fabulous progress. You should feel really good about it ... it's so much healthier without the weight.

    Kathy -  I never tried a stair-stepper.  What is the best way to start?  A few minutes at a time?  Are there any settings to be concerned about?  I'd like to try it but I don't want to look completely stupid in the gym when I attempt it!

    Carol Joy - Where are you?  I hope you and your family are well.

    Jane - thanks! Yeah, I've only been on since Feb and have done really well. Have gone through two big things (reunion and vacation) and didn't gain any so I'm very thankful. You're the best!

    jane..most stair steppers have a quick start button.. and you can increase your levels1-20... i just do level 4 and that works for me.. i would start at 5 minutes at level 1 or 2 and increase it as you feel its too easy...some of them have different programs.. just start out easy an see what you think....i like to have the fan blowing on   me.. cause i get so hot from it...good luck and have fun..      kathy
