    Re: not doing so well

I have just finished one week back on the plan.  2 pounds lighter.  I started in January, lost 17 pounds, fell off the plan with summer, vacations, etc.  Put back on 7.  Surprise!

alli works, but you have to be ready to help it work.  My original goal weight of 155 is still a long way off, but my new mini is just 4 pounds away.  And anything I can do to get the impending holidays started off on a light note will go a long way.

    Good luck to all!

i'm with suzombie - alli works, just gotta play by the rules. GET MOVING!! make a workout out of your every-day things - you can do it!!

i've lost 12 lbs., almost my goal weight, but not quite. it's hard.  i lost 13 lbs., just to gain back 2 in one weekend. just got back on track & have lost that plus a pound.

we didn't get big overnight, so we won't get thin overnight either.

get moving - if you can, get a bicycle & USE IT!!

    Hi Kwalle this is Larry,

I restarted the Myalli plan twice but I also learned something new each time I fell off the wagon. I suggest you join me in Rhonda's “Bump It Up a Notch" Challenge that starts tomorrow, October 1st and ends on October 31st. You can sign-up or just read information about it by going to the 100 Pounds +, Circle and look for the thread named "Bump It Up a Notch" I guarantee you will meet interesting people while you are losing weight. I'll be your buddy through this Challenge and we both will lose weight together.

    Re: not doing so well

Hi Blazer!  I just started alli today and I just want to encourage you.  I felt your pain in your message.  You are beautiful regardless of how your body may be shaped at this time.  Just focus on you.  Love yourself and make each day brighter.  You should start a relationship with yourself.  I am 220 lbs at 5'0 tall.  That's way too much for my height.  I had to go through a process before I began to focus on my weight.  I had to learn to love myself and know that I have a purpose in life.  You have a purpose.  Losing weight feels great!!!  I understand but pick yourself up and understand this, you did it before and with that motivation know you can do it again!! FOR GOOD!!  Buy you a outfit that compliments your inner beauty also!!  SMILE YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL!!!!

Re: not doing so well *response*

    Hey There,

I just wanted to tell you not to be discouraged. Even logging into the website says a lot about what you want and your goals. I have 78lbs to lose myself so I understand the struggle. But here is a trick to feeling better. I know you don't want to buy larger sizes, but when your clothes don't fit well, you won't feel good about yourself. This can affect you mentally and make it harder for you to be motivated. You don't have to buy much, but at least buy yourself the staples. A good fitting pair of jeans, a pair of pants for work and a few tops. This way when you get dressed you will look in the mirror and feel good. In turn, you will find yourself a little more motivated to stay on track so you can continue to feel good and drop those unwanted pounds. It is just a temporary pick me up. Trust me, even though your new clothes won't be the size you want, they will at least fit good and just know that it is a start. You can even buy a pair of pants of the size you would like to be in and hang those on the door of your closet. You can see where you started (with your new pants) and keep you vision on where you want to be. Hang in there & good luck!- Gabby

    God Bless!
