Hey everybody,

I am 21 years old and very unhappy with my body. Though people tell me I do not look as heavy as I weigh, it still does not help. So tonight, after reading alli forums for 2-3 months, I have purchased the starter pack. If there is anybody who needs a support buddy, I am so there :)

p.s. I also want to thank everybody for posting their encouraging stories, they help a lot!

Have my alli & am starting first thing in the morning. I understand everyting you said. I am 31 and have always been on the heavy side but within the past year I have put on an extra 30 pounds. I finally have had enough. So if you need to talk I am here.

 Hey there, I am the same way..I am so tired of people telling me what they think I weigh..lol  I am doing this for me...nobody else.  I just started sunday.  Well I have to run, I'm a nurse and have to be at work in half an hour!  Have a good day!

 I wish I had a job like nursing that involves a lot of walking, I sit all day every day.

Are y'all excersising a lot? If yes, did you start full force right away or slowly working your way? This morning I chose stairs over the elevator...all the way to the 13th floor...not fun AT ALL!!!

 Hi! I started myalli pill today. I've had them for over a month and I've been afraid to start. Can you believe that? Afraid of success? treatment side-effects?  I don't know. I've never taken a weight pill before, so I'm a little apprehensive overall. My day did start well though, Curves, breakfast and MyAlli. Let me hear back if you'd like a e-pal to share and support.

 Hi!  I started taking Alli on the 4th of August.  I have never taken a weight loss pill, so I too was apprehensive, but finally broke down and bought the started kit.  I watched what I ate for 3 days before beginning and am happy to say that I have not had the treatment effects they talk about except once.  AVOID the Red Robin hamburgers!!  I had half of one and the next day was rough.  I am in need of losing 42 pounds and have lost 7 pounds so far in two weeks.  I don't think that is too bad.  I am very excited and I feel so good and have energy because I am eating good food.  I am new to this site (just got a computer) so if anyone has helpful tips, please let me know.  Thanks

Hi, I just started 8/16.  I too am extremely unhappy with the way I look.  I'm 225lbs and everyone tells me I don't even look over 180 - I hide it well on my back.  I really need a support buddy and will be here for you as well.  I'm almost 40, and am a full time college student.  My biggest concern is: I haven't had a bowl-movement since starting and don't have an urge to go either? Any insight?

 hi... i started just a couple days after you... but i'm really frustrated b/c i'm only down about 4-5 pounds... i can do that on a week of weight watchers so i thought this was suppose to be 3 times better....i'm having a hard time with the fat grams... cannot reach the rec. goal per meal... are you??? and i've read that you have to right???  any meal suggestions are helpful... i just feel like its not working.... thanks

     hi  i had to restart   my diet so that  graphs  are working.  wow i  walked   for along time  today  i tired   ha ha i got lost  today  to.   but i hope it was worth  it.   when i wiegh in    on saturday.   so im sort of  new 

Hey there! I just started Alli a couple of days ago so I have my fingers crossed. My CW is 188 and GW is 135 so I have some work cut out for me. After getting married, the weight just kept coming and coming! We are very happy and the weight doesn't bother him but I want to do this for myself. I have tried ALL the others with no success and have my fingers crossed that this will help.  Any words of wisdom/encourgement are welcomed!! Good luck everyone!!

 hey  there   i do   have some work cut out for me>  cw is 219 and  my gw  is  156  so here  iam  doing  this  to better  myself and some one else  to. im single  and  went through 2 devorses and  my daughter  has  moved   out  and  my father  past  away  this spring  so i gone  through  emointal rollarcoster.    hang in there  we all  can do it

 Miss Elaineous ... well, I've kept them in my purse. I need to do the less fat eating before I start the pills and quite frankly, I'm a little apprehensive. The treatment issues really concern me. HELP! I've got lots to lose. About 80 - 100.
