    Timing for Taking the "Pill"?

Sometimes, in the middle of a meal I will "remember" that I have forgotten to take my ALLI pill. How critical is it to take the pill before the meal? If I take it in the middle of a meal, or after a meal, will it still be beneficial?

    Thank you.

     Hi Kathy,

According to the moderators, Alli may be taken an hour before, during or up to an hour after your meal.

Might want to put it at your place setting so you'll remember to take it when you sit down to eat.

Re: Timing for Taking the "Pill"?

My understanding is to take it "with " the meal - meaning just before, during or immediately at the end of your meal. I have done all three and things are going well. Tonight I was clearing the table when I remembered. I wouldn't bother with it if I've remembered a couple hours after.

I like to put the day's pills in the little blue holder so I have them right at the table. If I'm going to be away I put them in my purse so I have them when I eat out.

If you are keeping a journal, that would be something to note.

    Good Luck to you.

    Hi Kathy,

Alli will work as when you take it up to one-hour before, during, and within one-hour after your meal. As long as you take it within the hour you will be fine.
