Kim, check in even when feeling low!! Hey, do any of you have any experience with kittens? We just adopted Dewey, well he did not make it to the ASPCA where all the kiitens were going to be taken, we took him first!!  He is adorable but a hand full!

My hubby around 10ish this morning ran over and killed the dog we just got back...it found its way back to us after a year!!!  It was one of Rustys babies...So I am crying again!!  Darnit.. 

Kittens are so much fun.  Just feed it, love it, and keep the litter box clean...

So sorry about the goat and chickens.I think if we had no luck it would be better than bad luck.My car needs to get inspected this month but iit needs brakes.My land lord asked to borrow it for a few minutes yesterday and i told him the brakes were reallybad,he took it and said they are real bad and he would fix them for me.Hes a real nice guy and has helped me with my car several times.Thank god for small favors.

Buzz havent heard any thing on the job,the guy in charge was on vacation for  2 weeks.I think they already know who there going to pick but when we get more work in Oct they will need some more people.Maybe then there will be something for me.

Elia its cold and dreary today so ill do my bike instead of walking outside.

Kim, I am so sorry!! I am terrified of my dogs, and now kitten, taking off without a leash!! even Dewey, the kitten, has a leash. Of course he will not walk with it outside yet, but I will prevail and he will if he wants to go outside!!  he already tried to run away on Saturday, he only got as far as the neighbor's backyard and then he found his own way bacvk to ours, I was already taking the ladder over so that I couls jump the 7' fence!! The neighbors are out of town and even though we did try to cut their bike chain, my wire cutter was not big enough!! I am already getting into trouble because of Dewey, I could just see tha police comming after us for trespassing!!

Linda, I sure do wish that it were colder in this area!! I do have my pedometer on, but I am not sure if I will be able to make it to the mall. I have to take some meds to my mom's tonight!!

Just got home from my sisters.We had a spaghetti supper,so we could pick names for xmas.All my neceies and one nephew and  boy friends were there and my brothers and sisters. and my 2 daughters.so we had a good time but ate to much.It poured  all the way up there really hard .I think were getting the end of some storm.Then tomorrow were suppossed to get rain and winds from the hurricane.I hope it stays just to the east of us,so we dont get hit hit to bad.The Cape is suppossed to get most of it and Maine.Well i have to work tomorrow so im heading to bed.Good night and talk to you tomorrow.

hi everyone!

buzz, i tried to send you the pictures again, hopefully they'll come thru!

we've been staying very busy with the little ones, the woman they use to live with has been a real pain, she's called the caseworker, and everyone else involved in the case trying to talk them into letting the kids come spend the night at her house. i think it's crazy they are bonding here and doing well,(we've had therapist & caseworker out to the home this week) but she keeps nagging, even calling our house.

i guess waiting to weigh in paid off, still at 122, so that gives me 5 more lbs that i need to lose.  I would love to lose that by the end of next month.  i'm turning 44 at the beginning of the month, and losing that last 5lbs would be the best present i could ask for.   I hope everyone is doing well i didn't get a chance to read everyones posts. had a hard time getting signed in again, i really wish they would get this site fixed it seemed to work so much better before.  take care, 

Hey ladies, I logged in here feeling so guilty because I had not written for so long, and I see I'm not the only one!   I still feel guilty, but not as much.  I don't know what's going on with me, but between being too busy at work to fool around, and running kids around after school, and not wanting to get on the computer once I get home at night, it just isn't happening.  I just wanted to get in here today to say I think about you guys everyday and want to get back to posting and catch up and everything.  I'm back trying to watch what I eat, I was bad, so bad, in New York and then had a hard time getting back on track when I got home.  I had gained four pounds back, but am dieting hard since yesterday morning.  My kids had a birthday dinner for me Sunday night and Renee made this awesome chocolate mayonnaise cake with chocolate frosting, all from scratch.  Do you think I would say no to that?  (And my grandson, who is 13, shoved a piece of cake in my face, I wish he would have warned me and I would have opened my mouth wider.)  Anyway I've already lost two of the four pounds, and hope I can keep it up.  Patty, congratulations on being within five pounds of your goal.  I hope it goes faster than my last five pounds, (although I only have three more to go at this point - but it's hard!)

Boy, am I out of touch, I didn't even know there was another hurricane lurking, I guess because the economy is about the only thing being discussed on the news anymore, and of course the presidential debates.  I'm glad you're safe, but sorry to hear you're sick.  I hope you're better today, and if not, stay home from work and take care of you!

Judy, your lucky you can lose a the pounds you gain so quickly. mine go so slowly now, and come back on so quickly!

all the kids are doing well!  i've just been under a lot of stress, dealing with ins. companies, schools and dept of family.  no one calls back or follows through with anything they say their going to do, so it just means so much wasted time on the phone and documenting things that should have been handled with one simply phone call!

hope everyone is getting in a little exercise, and making SOME healthy eating choices!

Patty i am starting to feel a little better today.I went to work all week and suffered through.They filled that position at work,but know they have 3 full time positions listed.So i applied again.Keep your fingers crossed.My car is dead!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.The brakes all need to be replaced and the alitnator is fried.Right now i just dont have the bucks to get it fixed,I dont know if its even worth getting it fixed.Ill have to think about it.

So Judy how was ny.Did you behave your self?
