Linda, I'm glad you're feeling better, it's horrible to go to work when you are not feeling well. I'm keeping my fingers crossed you get one of those fulltime jobs you applied for. Patty, I replied to you about people not following through on things, but it didn't post. I was just saying it seems to be true more and more lately, no matter who it is you're trying to deal with on the phone. I always figure a phone call that should take about two minutes will end up taking about 45 minutes, because of getting transferred, cut off, and talking to people who just don't know their jobs. Whatever happened to customer satisfaction?
New York was fabulous and if I had time I could write about it for hours. I loved every minute of it and crammed everything I could into the days we were there. I definitely want to go back, I'd like to see it in every season. Central Park was beautiful, but we took the carriage ride at night and couldn't see much because it was dark! Hello! Next time we will spend a day just wandering around there. Times Square was unbelievably beautiful at night. We took the Staten Island Ferry and cried when we saw the Statue of Liberty. We went to Ground Zero and cried when we toured the devastation. But we also did lots of fun things, dinner at Tavern on the Green, shopping at Bloomingdale's and Bergdorf Goodman's, rode the subway for the experience, (wouldn't do it again), went to Little Italy to have pizza at Lombardi's, (the oldest pizza restaurant in the U.S.)
Elia, where are you? If you don't surface by this weekend, I'll be calling you! I hope everybody knows that Buzz had to go to India, as her father is very ill. She will be back in a couple of weeks. Kimberley, you seem to be missing too, as well as Lizzy. What's happening to our group? I know I haven't been very good about posting lately, too busy at work, but my goal is to improve on that.
Speaking of work, gotta go....love to all.
Judy
