Okay, different day, I'll give it another try. Linda, I'm sorry about your accident, but glad you're feeling better. You are a member of the walking wounded, my toe still feels broken but I haven't gone to the doctor, just banged it again last night going barefoot in the house. Now I have what apears to be a sprained thumb from tripping in the yard on tree roots (wearing my flip flops) and landing against the fence to keep me from falling all the way down. I felt my thumb twist, but then thought it was okay and ignored it for three days and now today it's swollen and red. Yes, those flip flops ought to be outlawed. How nice of your daughters to throw you a surprise birthday party! It must have been lots of fun. Take care of your poor kitty, my daughter's cat lived to be 21 years old, man he was a stinky, scrawny, nasty old man. A raccoon finally got him.
Elia, I have not seen Ecco sneakers, but I'll bet they're comfortable. I have a pair of Ecco sandals that are probably my faves. I agree about spending money on supportive, comfortable shoes. My feet are a mess anyway, I have a spur on the top of one that is pretty painful, a bunion on one that hurts, flat feet, and to make it all better, my either broken or badly sprained toe. Imagine if I wasn't wearing good shoes what that would be. How did the photography go at the wedding? Did your pay get cut 10% as well as everybody else's?
Pat, so good to hear from you. It sounds like you're busy, but then how could you not be? You have the high arches, I have the very flat feet (pronated, it's called). How are all the little ones?
I have a new puppy, (I told Elia in an email). His name is Charlie and he is an 11-week old Shih Tzu, a mini-one, he won't weigh more than 6 or 7 pounds full grown. He is solid black, which is unusual for a Shih Tzu, and so adorable. He's already figured out how to the use pet door to get in and out. My other Shih Tzu Spencer, hates him and right now isn't too crazy about me either for bringing him home. I hope in time if they don't grow to love each other, they will at least tolerate each other. Spencer growls at him all the time. I try to give Spencer lots of extra attention and love. He sleeps on my bed but when I put Charlie on there, Spencer jumps off and goes under the bed and stays there. The cat Smokey doesn't play any games with Charlie at all, if Charlie approaches him he just smacks him and theyr'e done.
Back to work, I hope this posts.
